It is indeed a brave step to first recognise and acknowledge to yourself that you may need help and support; and secondly to actively look for it. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Most people at some point in their life will experience feelings of hopelessness or helplessness, depression or anxiety, or some other form of mental anguish.

These symptoms often form an umbrella that may cover other psychological and emotional issues. If we do not get the appropriate help and support, these conditions can lead to increased isolation, loneliness and emptiness. Talking to a trained professional therapist helps you to come to an understanding of your inner world and the way it works.

I am British born and come from a dual heritage background and I have been involved in the counselling field since 1997. Through my work I recognised that including a spiritual dimension to counselling and psychotherapy can be very helpful to healing and wholeness, and to lead to a more authentic life.
Counselling and psychotherapy are very similar and there is usually an overlap between the two. Counselling tends to work on a particular issue and can be short term work. Psychotherapy is usually longer term and works on your whole person. In psychotherapy we take a closer look into your childhood history to see if it is impacting on your present experience.
Psychosynthesis counselling and psychotherapy helps with many different symptoms. If you are feeling ill at ease for any of these reasons, or any other reason, please call for further information or to book an appointment. You do not have to have a particular symptom to start therapy. Sometimes we just know that something isn't quite right.
