We are a small animal practice in West Sussex. We are passionate about animal care and our skilled team of veterinarians and vet nurses are dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your animals. Because we love animals and strive to provide excellent continuity of care, we are open for routine consultations six days a week and offer our own 24-hour emergency care.

Services
For over 50 years we have been providing high quality veterinary care for the domestic animals of West Sussex at our surgeries in Horsham and Billingshurst. We are proud to offer a 24-hour, 365 days a year service as well as advanced care in orthopaedics and internal medicine. We offer late evening and Saturday morning appointments to help our clients fit their pet's healthcare around work.
Here at Farthings Veterinary Group, we're very proud to have so many and dedicated individuals working in our friendly practices. We are all passionate about animals and their well-being, from our veterinary surgeons and qualified nurses to our essential support staff. Highly trained and caring, each of us has a role to play in making our practices special for you to visit with your pet.
Our team of highly dedicated and experienced veterinary surgeons and vet nurses are devoted to your pet's wellbeing. Your pets are always our priority. We all have our own pets and work hard to provide the same service to you that we would want for our own much-loved animals. At our surgeries we provide continuity of care, working with you to provide effective and high quality treatment.
Many of our patients are receiving long term treatment and are eligible for 'repeat prescriptions'. Usually, we see these patients every six months, although for some conditions and often at the start of a new treatment, this may be more frequently. If your pet is due more of their usual medication, please contact us no less than 48-hours before you would like to collect this.
In the event of an emergency during our normal opening hours please call your usual surgery on 01403 252900 (Horsham) or 01403 785295 (Billingshurst) and you will be advised what to do next. If you need a vet outside of our normal working hours, please call our Horsham surgery on 01403 252900. Here at Farthings Veterinary Group we offer our own emergency service, 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

Every experience has been so good with all the staff. Meryl operated on one of my rats Loki to remove a mass and he is doing so well. I'm so grateful someone was able to help him as it can be a struggle for ops and treatments for small animals. All the staff have also been wonderful and always patient with me on the phone. The out of hours staff were brilliant too. Thank you everyone is who helping my rats!
