Bit different to all other hotels I've experienced. Lovely staff. The experience of bkfst - trying to do everyone at the same time - was generally not popular & probably dragged out the time it took. Similarly, no scope for individual ordering - it is either 'take it or leave it' for the cooked items. Buffet would probably be quicker & less wasteful.
Coffee is tasteless but it is the same in the Island's other hotel too. If coffee is too strong, it's easy to dilute but if its too weak there's no remedy. V good quality furniture & fittings but exterior woodwork needs rejuvenating. Wonderful position

We stopped here for lunch whilst kayaking around Mull. They were happy to serve us despite us being dressed in our dry suits!
The service was quick, and friendly, and they had a wide range of gluten free options. I had a delicious soup, and a local beef sandwich on home made GF bread, which was very welcome on a cold damp day. Top marks!

Went for dinner and had a wonderful time. The location is fantastic, the food and drinks were great, especially the locally grown touches like island botanicals in the gin. What made it particularly wonderful was the service, the staff seemed to genuinely enjoy themselves and want you to have a great time. Cara ( I think) was our waitress and really helped make a perfect evening for us. Also the best value (and one of the most delicious) cheese boards I've ever come across!

Myself and my husband had a lovely one night stay at this gem of a hotel . Staff were welcoming , warm, friendly and very accommodating. They were so helpful in regards to their beautiful island which we will definitely be revisiting. Our meal was beautiful and the breakfast choice is very good. Thanks for an amazing stay in this bonny wee island.
