Mull is an ancient and beautiful place, born in the fires of a long extinct volcanic eruption. Some of its rocks date back nearly three thousand million years. Its towering mountains and majestic sea cliffs were ravaged and shaped by the glaziers that once covered this island. Here you can walk free and enjoy all that wild nature has to offer from the soaring eagles, hen harriers and merlin to the magnificent red stags and the mountain hare.
This will include dinner, bed & breakfast at the Argyll Arms Hotel and a full day exploring the island's north & north west with a visit to Tobermory, and giving plenty of time to explore the town and do some shopping for those little gifts and souvenirs to take back home.
If you want to come to Mull and be expertly guided around to see the best the island and sea have to offer, if you fancy becoming a bit of an explorer, if you want to see the best of the wildlife that the island has to offer but don't want the hassle of organising it all yourself, and you want to combine this with a stay that will include all your accommodation needs and all your meals, then our 4 night Wild Explorer package is just right for you whether you are travelling alone, together or in a group.

I called asking if they would have a table for 2 available. I didn't have the time to specify the hour. The lady directly told me to come as soon as i can without telling us anything else.
We arrive at 8:10pm to be told that the kitchen closed at 8pm.
We haven't had a proper meal for the whole day so we asked if we could even buy something cold like a salad. The lady at the bar just smiled and said no. She seemed to find it funny. This was disrespectful and not professional.
On top of that we are still in the middle of a pandemic and she wasn't wearing a mask, just like some customers rooming

The Argyll Arms Hotel is both a hotel and a restaurant. Since the Isle of Mull does not offer many options when it come to food from Craignure to Fionnphort, we decided to drive and stop at this place which was recommended to us by an employee of the Caledonian MacBrayne ferries in Oban.
We arrived at dinner time on the 23rd of May. The place was somewhat busy. We ordered the special of the day without knowing that they had a standard menu (where we found more stuff we could have tried/liked). After some pondering, we decided to order calamari and two plates of local scallops with black pudding

We drove and drove and drove. Thought I'd see a dinosaur before I saw a restaurant. This place was like a vision sent from above. I ordered a burger and it was pretty good. Came on a floury bap. They have good whisky and cold beer. I was on the fence between three and four stars until over the sound system I heard a bagpipe cover version of Journey's "Don't Stop Believing". Easy enough.
