Body and Mind Zone offers training in holistic therapies and Face Yoga workshops/classes in Plymouth. Sarah has been offering her therapies since 2007, and is now focussing on running her training and workshops. Holistic therapies (or complementary therapies) can help with many health problems, and are particularly effective in helping people to cope with stress, anxiety, and pain.

Holistic therapies are treatments that treat the individual as a whole, in order to induce a state of balance and harmony in the body, mind and spirit. They can benefit people who are trying to cope with specific health conditions, or can simply help with relaxation and maintaining or boosting your general health.
Services
Reflexology is the technique of applying pressure to the feet using the thumb and fingers. It aims to bring about a state of deep relaxation, stimulate our own healing processes and help create a sense of well-being. It is very different from a foot massage, but you will also receive some foot massage to warm and relax your feet.
On this fun one-day workshop, you will learn to perform an Indian Head Massage treatment on your family and friends. Training is thorough, (much more than just a basic introduction and actually teaches you a full, professional routine). Ideal for complete beginners or as a refresher for therapists.

Oriental Face Massage is a wonderfully relaxing treatment which incorporates massage and acupressure techniques from Indian Face Massage, Japanese Face Massage, Chinese Face Massage and Tibetan Face Massage, and Natural Face Lift Massage.
Japanese Hand Massage is actually more than just a hand massage - it is a stimulating and refreshing massage of the arms and hands using techniques taken from shiatsu and reflexology. You will experience massage techniques on the hands and arms incorporated with stretching and acupressure, and you will be surprised by the therapeutic effect these traditional techniques will have on you!
Face Yoga is a natural way of looking and feeling younger and healthier with an added sense of relaxation and wellbeing. It is a combination of face exercises, face massage, face acupressure and face relaxation. It also focuses on wellbeing techniques for the mind, body and soul.

As a qualified Face Yoga teacher, I will teach you how to effectively use facial exercise, face massage and acupressure techniques for yourself every day so that you can help yourself to feel younger, healthier, and more relaxed.Face Exercise: just as your body needs regular exercise to stay toned and firm, the 57 muscles in the face and neck also need to be exercised.
