Kevin turned professional in 1980 after a successful amateur career. His First position was with the highly regarded Terry Healy at the Portsmouth Golf Centre, where he Qualified as a full PGA Professional. In 1984 he moved to Lee On The Solent Golf Club (his home club) where he worked under John Richardson, leaving in 1993 to open Swanmore Golf Centre.
