Services
Visitors are welcome to play our beautiful course which is a mixture of heath land and parkland and is always in good condition. You can either book online through this website up to 7 days in advance or telephone the club on 02392 551170 and choose the Professional Shop option. Please note that the golf course is challenging and a reasonable level of ability is required to enjoy it's design and presentation.
We welcome all groups of players to spend a day with us, from small parties to corporate golf days. We can also custom design a golf day to your own particular requirements. He will be very happy to discuss your group requirements, and will tailor your day for maximum enjoyment.

Lee-on-the-Solent Golf Club is situated in an ideal location close to both Gosport and Fareham with the motorway network within a few miles. We are able to offer The Fairways Restaurant for exclusive use for your event up to 150 guests of an evening, 100 guests during the daytime. A perfect venue for birthday celebrations, anniversaries, dinner & dances, lunchtime dining, the options are limitless.

Myself and my sister hired the clubhouse for a private function. Michelle and the team were fantastic and catered for us completely. The function room and bar is excellent, and we had a great party. The buffet was excellent and we received loads of comments on the quality so a big thank you to the Chef Steve and his team. We would definitely use this club again for a private function. Couldn’t fault it. Thank you

Course in great condition despite work on the 13th. A thinking person's course. Correct club selection and finding the fairway is a must. Greens are true and as in most Hampshire courses in great condition.
Would like the bunkers at the front of the 11th returned, but that's just a personal preference. Thorougly enjoyed the trip to Lee on Solent.

Lee on Solent is a Harry Colt designed course but it's certainly not a Sunningdale.
A par 69 at just 6,000 yes, it's not a long course, so the driver will only probably come out 7 times.
Make your score over the first 10 holes, thereafter the course shows its teeth, small greens make this a challenging finish.
Condition wise, it's okay, the greens are reasonable from May-September. The fairways are mixed, with both lush and bare patches.
It's a busy course, so rounds will be slow, 4 hours plus.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
Not expensive to play but I would hesitate to recommend it, that

Great course designed for players rather than pay and play guests. Some long par 3's and challenging par 4's. The layout is strange in that the 9th is nowhere near the clubhouse but this shouldn't affect your round, you just won't get to stop for half time refreshments. The greens are in excellent condition. The 13th par 3 signature hole is currently out of action due to ongoing repairs to the course but it's been replaced with a temporary par 3 between 15 and 16. Overall a very good course, highly recommended.

Very good course with some real challenging holes. A few par 4s offer real risk reward opportunities. And there are opportunities for some real chances of birdies. But narrow holes and trees close to fairways provide real risk. Greens are some of the best I've ever played on. Terry in the clubhouse couldn't have been more helpful. If wasn't for the high joining fee that is rather out of budget, I'd be joining this club in a flash.
