Unlike many inland courses, at Bryn Meadows no two holes are the same - a testament to the original course designers Brian Mayo and inaugural Golf Professional Craig Defoy. Christmas dinner with Santa what a joke. The room wasn’t even decorated Christmassy to start with.
The starter was lovely , the main course average I’ve had a lot better and paid less. My sons meal was meant to be a sausage dinner but they had run out of mash so he had french fries and a cheap sausage like the ones you get from the chip shop.
Then you got to see Santa for all of 5 seconds and told you can’t take photos they take them at £8 a photo !!! Total waste of money .

We attended the Rod Stewart tribute Christmas lunch on 3 Dec 21. The food was very good, the service was excellent with special mention to Aubrey who was extremely professional, polite and efficient. The entertainment was good and created a wonderful atmosphere. A thoroughly enjoyable event. Thank you.

This was the venue for our Christmas lunch for 46 people on a Saturday afternoon. Although very busy with other functions we were seated in a first floor room with lovely views over the surrounding area and enough space to be comfortable. The food, on the whole, was good although some plates were a bit short of veg for the main course. Service was very efficient and the staff friendly so all in all an enjoyable experience.

The Spa is lovely and has a steam room sauna, jacuzzi (though the Jacuzzi wasnt working properly when we visited), an aroma room, pool and hydro bath. We had booked 50 minute massages that were more towards the 35-40 minutes mark, and the group consensus was that two 25 minute treatments were more worth while than one 50 minute session.
We booked for the creme tea after but there was a miscommunication between the Spa and the Restaurant so they didn't have anything prepared. The staff in the restaurant were amazing and sorted everything out and we had a lovely spread. They were super attentive

Good hotel and the food was ace. The Golf was really good and the Spa was really enjoyable.
We had a premium suite - so for the money would of hoped for a mini bar and maybe some robes. Also the halls were not vacuumed in the 3 days we were there as there was confetti from a wedding left. The balcony chairs were also in very bad condition. With a little bit more care this would be a 5 star stay.

I attended a wedding here last night. The place was beautifully decorated. The whole place looked magical. The staff working were great and very attentive.
The buffet was lovely but lacking in a veggie option. This didn't dampen the night at all though as I filled up on potato salad.
I will certainly come here again and recommend the venue to others. Thank you Bryn Meadows for looking after us last night 😊😊
