Rothbury Kindergarten is our leading nursery in Northumberland, where we bring over 20 years of experience that we have gained from our sister Nurseries in South Shields and Jarrow, in the South Tyneside area. All of our nurseries are Ofsted rated Good or Outstanding and we offer the same quality childcare that we provide in all of our nursery settings in Rothbury Kindergarten.

We are proud to be able to say that Rothbury Kindergarten has a grade 5 for food hygiene. We aim to be as flexible as possible with the sessions we provide to enable us to meet your families needs and requirements. If you have any enquiries you can contact us. We offer a 15% sibling discount for any child who has a sibling that also attends Rothbury Kindergarten.

Parent's Portal Report

Here at Rothbury Kindergarten we want to keep all of our parents as up to date and involved with what is happening at the nursery. Our Parent's Portal will provide you with an introduction about how we ensure that the care we provide to your children is of the highest quality so they can grow up to reach their full potential and how we go further to make this a reality.

Our Nursery Report

We aim to provide a fully inclusive environment where each and every child can experience the full range of activities and opportunities to enhance their learning and development. Within the EYFS Framework it is our responsibility to meet individual needs of all children. We are an inclusive setting; we aim to identify a need at the earliest possible opportunity.

Childcare Sessions Report

We aim to be as flexible as possible with the sessions we provide to enable us to meet your families needs and requirements. If you have any enquiries you can contact us. At Rothbury Kindergarten we provide Before and After School care for children up to 5 years of age in a safe, caring and friendly environment and are filled with resources, activities and games for the children who attend.

Menu Report

All our meals are healthy and wholesome, cooked fresh that day in our on site kitchen. Our menu has been designed to provide our children with the balanced diet they need to grow up happy and healthy. We can adapt our menu to suit children's individual needs where necessary such as children with allergies or those who may require a vegetarian menu.

Our Sister Nurseries Report

Harton Village Kindergarten is our brand new sister nursery situated on Sunderland Road, South Shields. We aim to provide the very best care and education possible with outstanding facilities including a multimedia room, soft play area, sensory room and garden area including a carefully designed sensory garden.

Rothbury kindergarten is fantastic all the staff are worth weight in gold nothing is to much bother and they care so much about all kids and parents they feel like family my 2 kids have loved there time here and sad to say today is my little boys last day but am sure i will still see the lovely staff about i cant thank them enough for everything they have done and how happy my kids have been in there time here .
keep up the great work and any children going here will be very lucky

Our little lad has attended Rothbury Kindergarten two/three days each week since he was just over one year old. He attends throughout the year inlcuding school holidays and we cannot express enough what a lovely childcare setting this is. Our boy beams with delight from the second we open the gate to take him in, he is still smiling when we pick him up on an evening eventhough we can see he is shattered from a hard day of playing and learning. Dropping our lad off with Sarahand her team on a morning is like leaving him with family, Kindy staff have taken the time to get to know him so well and
