My name is Rod Chanes and I am the lead clinical Optometrist and Proprietor of Ben Mirkin Optometrists. There really is no more efficient and helpful optician than Ben Mirkin. My wife, unbeknown to me, had booked my children in for eye tests at a local optician - but they were unable to have glasses ready in time for the start of the new school year and the selection was limited.
Rod from Ben Mirkin is a star....he carries lenses in store and so put the glasses together in a matter of hours. My son has started secondary school, able to see the blackboard and happy with his stylish new glasses. Suffice to say, after this my family won't go anywhere else.

I felt moved to write a review and give five stars because of the excellent service provided by the staff of Ben Mirkin everytime I have attended with my broken glasses or other problem. They are attentive and make recommendations but allow you to make your decisions without feeling pressured to buy unsuitable items. I have recommended them to friends and family and they all give them superb feedback. By the way they do offer an extensive range of spectacles to suit all personal styles and budgets.
