Anyone needing a taxi in Scarborough AVOID BEE-LINE.
We pre-booked a taxi for 8 people going from Scarborough to east heslerton. We was told it would be £24 for a car but because there is 8 people it will cost around £32. An 8seater taxi turned up we all got in after a great family night out and the driver said because the taxi was full (he apparently was told there was only 2 people although he came in an 8 seater) it would cost us £64. The driver was rude! When we called the switchboard after getting phone put down on me twice she said it's the drivers choice on price and other drivers would

Can't get through on phone. Told to book on app. App advises taxi will be here in 30 mins and even sends a text to say driver is on the way yet they cancel.the order. Woman on the phone rude and totally unprofessional and even puts phone down when questioned as to why their app says a time and yet they cancelled. She then gives me a time 3 and a half hours away!

Ordered a taxi via their app for 7pm. Being a resident of Scarborough, I knew it would be a busy time so ordered about 4 hours in advance.
Not only did the taxi not arrive, after calling to see where it was, it took me 4 attempts as I was cut off each time, the automated service saying there were no operators available. On my 5th attempt I finally got through. It was now 7:25. The person on the other end said she would 'try' to sort it.
When the taxi did finally arrive, the driver complained at 'us', saying it had cost him extra money in petrol because he was on the way to another customer and
