We have a warm and welcoming showroom adjacent to our work shop where you can visit to browse our samples at any time with no appointment necessary. Granite is a natural material which is both beautiful and hardwearing. It is an igneous rock which forms as a result of the slow crystallisation of molten magma beneath the earth's crust. Granite is composed primarily of quartz, feldspar and mica and the different chemistry of the minerals gives each granite it's distinct colour and pattern.
The polished finish on both natural stone and quartz and ceramic surfaces is currently the most popular for kitchen work surfaces. The polished finish provides a beautiful reflection (especially on natural stone and ceramic surfaces) and is easy to wipe down and clean. The honed finish is completely flat and matt and is a great alternative to the polished finish for granite and marble surfaces.
There are many different stone choices available for kitchen work surfaces. Each type of stone surface has different properties and a member of our team would be happy to go through the options with you - on the phone, by email or in person at our showroom - to ensure that the surface you select best meets your needs.

WOW What a breathe of fresh air this company have been to deal with.
From being recommended them, I visited their lovely showroom and Emma was really friendly & helpful.
They have an incredible range of worktop choices, you'd be hard pressed to not find something you liked.
Anna has been in regular contact via email updating me on the situation of when my choice of worktop was coming in to arranging the templating date and finally the fitting date.
I only had to pay a 50% deposit which is very trustworthy as some companies ask for complete payment up front.

First class service from Anna and her team. From making decisions on the type of worktop to our end design, the team were always on hand to answer questions and advise. We opted for Compac Calacatta Unique and are very happy with our new worktop. Mark was incredibly precise when templating and he fitted along with Steve to a very high standard. Thank you very much.

Oxford Stone Craftsmanship came recommended to us by someone who builds and renovates houses for a living. Anna and the team are incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and very easy to work with. We were unsure about quite what type of stone we wanted to replace the cheap-looking work surfaces that our house builder had installed. They carry a massive range of stone types and colours and loaned us a wide range of samples that allowed us to settle upon a beautiful dark grey granite with a pearlescent blue fleck.

We recently used Oxford Stone Craftsmanship for the design and installation of our kitchen countertops and a new waterfall kitchen island. From start to finish our experience of OSC was both professional and personal – they helped us choose a beautiful work surface which suited our needs and made some great suggestions on how we could alter our layout to make things more practical. It has transformed our kitchen which now feels like we live in a show-home! We had our kitchen countertops installed Summer 2018. We had a good idea of what we wanted - 12mm grey silestone, something that some competitors wouldn't even quote for. We had some ambitious ideas about what we wanted to acheive - Oxford Stone Craftmanship in my opinion went above and beyond to help us get an outstanding result. I would absolutely recommend them as both helpful, approachable and as craftsmen that know their stuff.

We had our stone worktops installed by Oxford Stone Craftsmanship in March 2018. From the beginning it was clear that Steve, Anna and the whole team have a real passion for stone. They helped us discover the worktops we really loved (a white Brazilian quartzite) , let us chose the pieces of stone directly from the wholesaler, and did an excellent job installing the worktops, which really transformed our kitchen. Overall a wonderful experience. Five stars plus.
