I would like to rate this place for food but diffilcult when they won't let you in ?
Here is what happened

Sorry we are only taking bookings.
Oh you are full then ?
No only taking bookings!
Oh how do I book?
When for?
Tonight? Tomorrow?
We are closed tomorrow!
With that I gave up and went to the restaurant opposite

Excellent restaurant. Food and staff very attentive and friendly. This was my third visit since moving up here to Dornoch, last year, from Hertfordshire. Would recommend to all. Thank you for a great evening.

Really nice. Pleasant atmosphere, good food and specials. Nice, accommodating staff. Don't miss the sticky pudding!
