We've been working hard over the past few months to make sure all of our delicious food dishes are just that little bit better. As well as our usual favourites like Steak & Tangle Foot Pie, Hand-Battered Fish & Chips and our famous H&W Burger, we've also got a range of tasty sandwiches and of course our delicious Sunday Roasts, which we think are the best (apart from Mum's!)
One of the key attributes of the perfect traditional English pub is that it is at the heart of its local community. That's why we believe it's so important to give something back and detailed below are just a couple of things we are doing locally to help out in some small way. Community is incredibly important to us and as part of this, we help to fundraise for a local charity.
On exiting Notting Hill Gate Underground Station head East on Notting Hill Gate (A402) towards Kensington Church St (A4204). Take the third left on to Ossington Street and after 0.1 miles head straight on to Hereford Rd. You will find The Prince Edward on the left on Prince's Square. On exiting Bayswater Underground Station head North on Queensway (B411) towards Moscow Road.

The best part of our experience here was the view. We sat outside on the curb and enjoyed looking at all the cute homes and the folks passing by. Overall the staff were nice but there seemed to be some confusion with the menu and what was available at that time of the day.
Food was fine, not our favorite meal in London, but it was nice to just sit down and relax for a while.
My favorite part was sitting under the beautiful flowers hanging over us as we sat outside.

There's one guy who works there that treats customers like they shouldn't be there. Extremely rude and takes pleasure in arrogantly reminding customers of the new COVID rules, no matter how small the issue is.… My brother was sitting on a chair that was apparently too close to the 'walkway' and was told to move in a way as if he had done something terrible.

Can't rate the food just the lack of service.
In town for work for the US and staying nearby, I went in solo. They were a little busy and I didn't want to take a larger table so I asked the guy behind the bar where I could sit. He shook his head and mumbled " I don't know" and walked away. Not a great start.
The woman behind the bar came over and I said I was by myself and could sit anywhere for dinner. She said hold on, walked away and took a phone call. She finally came and said "We're busy, come back in five minutes." I walked around the neighborhood

Disappointing food. Just plain meh... Beautiful environment and friendly staff but when you order something off the menu that's not available, say so before handing me the menu. Then when you have a special on the board and it's not available take it off the board but then don't bring it out anyway after I've now made my 3rd selection. I will say that a dog friendly environment works for me- another patron came inside with 4 dogs and sat at the bar and it was a cool scene. The steak sandwich my husband twice specified to be rare was about as over cooked as you could imagine

After a long flight, we were tired and hungry and settled on this pub because it is right next to our new flat. My expectations were low but our meal was actually really good!! My husband and I sat outside and split a board that came with chips, ribs, chicken skewers, and lamb skewers with a variety of dipping sauces. Great value for the amount of food we got!
Since that meal I've noticed that it always has a fair amount of people at it - morning, noon, and night. I will go back to try it again!

The Sunday roast was extremely tough and fatty. Everything around it was tasty but the meat itself wasn't worth it at all. One of the bartenders rolled his eyes at us when we ordered a few cocktails, not sure why. The main bartender was great. A bit overpriced for the quality of food. I wouldn't go for food.

I rent a flat across the street in Nottinghill and it's new for me so I came in here yesterday for a little lunch and the service was great very quiet even in the evenings
But they had a lot of nice things to offer on the menu and on Sunday they offer a special roast
The mashed potatoes needed a little bit more salt and butter but the scotch egg was nicely done

On our last night in London I had dinner here with my wife and daughter (11). It was Saturday and it was busy with many locals. We were staying in Queensway so it was a short walk. At first the female bartender kinda shooed us when we asked about a table for dinner but then an other young women came along and got us seated. Pubs don't have hostesses so you're kinda on your own. We had a nice table in the main room with a view of the bar and telly where everybody was watching the Euro 16 soccer match. My wife and i started with a Hendrick's gin and tonic. They charge you separately

Had a satisfying and peaceful meal here. It was conveniently located beside the apartment I am staying at. I had tried to eat here before, but all the tables were full during dinner/ late night. This time I went for afternoon - late lunch and here were many tables available. I ordered the baked camberent (£10.95), a Caesar salad with chicken (£6.50) and a tomato juice. VAT (tax and tip) is automatically applied to order. Ordered and paid at the bar and advised I would sit outside. I got my drink right away and the rest of my meal came in around 20 minutes, the baked cheese takes a while usually

Spent a week about a block away in the Bayswater Inn. We were looking for something close and fairly inexpensive. Had 2 small kids and 1 vegetarian teen with us. Food was really good and it was a quiet neighborhood pub.
Food Specials and their vegetarian menu changed daily. My son was happy. If you are in the area stop by and get some good food and company.

I've been there several times now in the evening. Each time the food and drink are great. The staff is very friendly. If you sit at the bar, you are much more likely to enjoy yourself striking up conversations with locals and other visitors.
This was just what I was looking for as a place to wind down after tramping about the city and returning from day trips around London.
