The Avalon was bought by Three Cheers Pub Co in 2008 and underwent a major refurbishment before re-opening in November of that year. Three Cheers Pub Co is a small collection of pubs in South London run by local boys Tom Peake, Mark Reynolds and Nick Fox, who opened their first pub, The Abbeville, in Clapham in 2003.
We can only accommodate groups of a maximum of six people from one household or support bubble. If your booking is of any other size or you can't find availability, please call 020 8675 8613. Please also let us know if there are any children coming and if you require a high chair or booster seat or space for a pram.
A secret staircase behind the bar leads you to The Blue Room. Vintage prints of the legendary Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco set the scene. Beautiful rococo wall lights reflect the luxurious atmosphere whilst handsome Georgian furniture (including a mahogany dining table seating 22) creates a setting for indulgence.

I was there for my friend's birthday on Saturday. Me and another person in our group bought two bottles of prosecco which we had on the table next to us in an ice bucket. I stepped out for 5 minutes, but my friends were still near the table and when I came back the bucket was gone. My bottle was full and the other one was 3/4 full.
We went up to the bar to ask if they knew what had happened and we were told that there was nothing they would do about it.
We'd spend £60 on these bottles for the staff to clean them without checking and then for the manager to be dismissive and refusing to do anything

Been going to the quiz every week for the last month and have had a wonderful time.
An easy to use booking system is great and the service inside is always very friendly.
The pizza they serve is lovely, with a special mention to the massive sharing pizza which is great fun to split between a few friends.

A huge pub easily reachable by transport.
I loved it style and the various selection of gin.
I don't know her name but the girl with blu hair was polite and sha was so attent costumers , more complicated instead call the other staff attention.
No full satisfied, Went there mainly for the garden which to my regret is only open in the summer and closed the rest of the year

Visited today for a roast dinner. It was absolutely delicious. Lovely selection of nicely cooked vegetables and the roast potatoes were perfect. Delicious Yorkshire pudding. Nice restaurant and will definitely visit again. The staff were all friendly and attentive. Highly recommend for a Sunday Roast.
