My name is Allen Thwaites and I formed Flying Pig Driving School to allow me to combine my passion of developing skills in people with my passion for driving anything with an engine. I believe I offer a unique combination of real driving skills and experience alongside relaxed coaching skills that can deliver results.
The driving lessons that I will provide are designed to help you progress as quickly as possible while ensuring that you become a safe driver that will easily pass your Theory and Practical tests. To achieve this I use a structured syllabus broken down into 32 easy to understand topics. Some are larger and some smaller, some are easy and some will take a little time but you will always understand the target and your progress.
This is one of the most commonly asked questions amongst learner drivers and the answer really depends on many factors! The national average is around 45 hours of professional tuition complimented by an additional 20 hours of private practise. However different people learn at different rates, just like anything else in life!
