My bike has been sitting on the side of the road for 5 days. Roadside assistance is useless. 5?days and they still can’t find someone to tow my bike in. Today I’ve been on the phone with Rider roadside assistance for 2 hour. … 2 hours in and they realize it’s a motorcycle. RIDER ROADSIDE ASSITANCE IS CONPLWTEKY USELESS. I will be switching insurance companies for my 5 motorcycles. Stranded for 5 days… wow…

Dealt with Mandi and she was absolutely fantastic. Answered all my questions. Told her what type of coverages I was looking for and a price point. Was concerned about all my accessories/upgrades that I added on and if they would be covered and she gave me confirmation they would up to I think $5k. She was able to build my policy with everything I was wanted and even came in under my price point. Strongly recommend Rider.

Terrible customer service. In short, bike was stolen, filed claim, told to wait for an adjuster to reach out, adjust called four days later (I screen calls from unknown numbers so you would think they would leave a voicemail and guess what? She didn't), I get an email from her the next day saying, "I have been trying to reach you since this claim was filed. I have left messages with no reply thus far."

That set the tone right there. To have a professional representing a company to lie and have a lack of integrity gets under my skin like no other. This was exactly a week ago and

They claim, that they know motorcycles.

I insured my BMW RnineT with them the last year. I was expecting some more deductions, since this was my first motorcycle insurance in the US and I didn't had any claims or tickets.

However, they offered me the same annual policy for $125 more. The representative told me, that they classified this motorcycle as a sports bike for 2019, which it isn't.

On week late I got a mail, that they were bought up by another insurance company. So I guess things are getting worse with this insurer now.

They have been terrible in handling my claim (I was in an accident with one of their insured parties). The lady handling the medical side has been nothing but rude to me and I am the innocent party. Both the property and medical claims adjustors fail to close the case and have made every excuse in the book as to why they won't accept liability even though their insured was ticketed by police for careless driving. In addition, they have zero compassion for an innocent injured party. I am not a difficult customer. I am just a normal, injured American that wants to close this case and move on

They are pathetic, they don't mail the bills regularly but they mail the cancellation for non payment. Let's talk about their policy rates, my motor cycle insurance is only 13.27 less a year then I pay for full coverage on my 2016 GMC 2500 HD Denali.I'm pretty sure my almost 6,000 pond truck can cause a lot more damage then a 427 pound motorcycle. When you question them about the the high amount they say it's the size of the bike, ok it's a zx10R but yet a GSXR 750 is 365.00 less a year. I would just cancel my policy and get a refund but their refund policy doesn&apos

I have been a customer with this company for two years without a claim and never missed payment. They did not mail the bill for my last payment nor did they call. When I actually called in to make the payment the agent gave me an attitude as if I always miss payments. The last payment was for $63 and the agent told me they canceled the policy. I ask extremely politely if there was anything they could do, seeing how I paid for two years with no issues and she said no and that I would have to make a new down payment and create a new policy (with an attitude). I had a small accident and rider ended up totaling my motorcycle. They gave me a good price for my bike , but getting the check is a huge hassle. They use a salvage company that sends you paper work that I filled out, had notarized, and FedEx'd the same day I received it. It takes them 24-48 hours to process once they receive it. Once they complete that they notify Rider and rider takes 24 hours to process it on their end and mail it. Yes, mail it. not FedEx. Regular snail mail. It's been three weeks since they deemed it totaled.

This review is specifically regarding their website. Paying online, if not impossible, is a chore you do not want to undertake. Though you may already have a policy number and they have all your info they require you to 'register' anyway. However, after you register you still cannot pay by credit card. And, oh yes, where they ask for the policy number to register if you type it EXACTLY like it is on the bill it doesn't work. A little detective work and trial and error entries reveals they want you to drop the last '-X' (dash and digit). Very nice if you are trying

Rider Insurance is a great company that until very recently insured only street motorcycles. Now they insure ATV and UTVs. I have used them since I started riding 25 years ago and I have found them to be concerned and responsive. They worked closely with my dealer to repair my motorcycle to our satisfaction. Without sharing to much personal information, I have no hesitation to recommend them. The owners are involved in motorcycling and it shows.

Rider insurance a great co. till you need them for a claim after an accident. They will use every tactic in the book to avoid settling a claim they are cheap and not much class. You go with rider. And you have a claim.youll get rude and poor service and you get what you pay for for sure they like collect your payments OK but try to collect on a claim. Gave 1 star because I had to!!!

I had this insurance with them for two years which came by default through the dealer. My girlfriend had an accident, and I had bad customer service whenever I called them to make a payment before this, and was worried how it would all work out. My girlfriend was injured and covered under our own health insurance since rider didn't offer us a medical policy. The bike was deemed a total loss, which seemed odd because the damage wasn't that severe. They gave us a ridiculous quote on what they would give us for the bike, and it was like $900 less than what we owed. The bike only had 1,100

Someone vandalized my husband's Vespa scooter, and Rider insurance was very cooperative, helpful as well as professional in the claims process. Also, their prices are better than if you insure your motorbike with a car insurance company.
