It is with great sadness that Morrish Solicitors announces the loss of our dear friend and Partner, Duncan Gardiner. The Morrish team are devastated by this terrible loss, which is deeply felt across the entire firm. Duncan was a kind, unassuming and selfless man who contributed enormously to his firm, his colleagues and his clients.
Quick to laugh, and generous with his time, he was for 30 years part of the bedrock of the firm. After being admitted in 1994, Duncan worked hard to build a locally and nationally recognised team of Medical Negligence Solicitors here at Morrish - he rightly felt this was his greatest professional achievement.

The firm was established in 1882 by Harold James, who operated as a sole practitioner until after the First World War. Records show the firm representing its first Union client, the Farriers and Blacksmiths, in 1906 and relations with the Trade Union movement have grown from strength to strength thereafter.
