We continue to go from strength to strength with 25 partners and around 180 staff operating from our Head Office based in Leeds. Lack morals and Integrity. There was a misunderstanding on whether their work was required and a payment of £480 paid. They only sent a couple of emails, lied they did substantial work and would not agree to forfeit the money. I bet £480 is worth more than the company's standards and reputation. Not sure why precise mortgage would have this firm as part of their legal representation as they are unhelpful, with no morals and integrity.

We were recommended to use Blacks - what a mistake - it was a total fiasco, calls never returned, emails ignored - important original documents (LPA) " lost "internally despite them being sent recorded delivery they kept insisting they didn't have them . Eventually found them but then returned them to a totally different person !!! and it was left to us to track them down. We had to dismiss them as we would have lost our buyer due to their incompetence. Avoid, avoid, avoid

Very responsive and efficient! Yunus and his team are a pleasure to deal with. The speed and efficiency of service was exceptional. The personal touch is key for me, for a company that is so large and so busy, to feel like you are the only client makes you really appreciate the effort that goes into every single case. At the offset we thought Blacks were an average solicitor but then huge problems started with our buyer's solicitors to the point when we all thought after six months everything was going to fall through....
Then came Sophie Arnold, a solicitor in shining armour on her white horse and literally went at our case relentlessly until yesterday we finally arrived at our dream home. I don't doubt at all we wouldn't be here without her and the team.
Our buyer went with a cheap and cheerful solicitor, we went for a more established one and wow, could you see the difference!
We got the bill for Blacks

Fantastic!
After suffering so much frustration with poor communication from conveyancers (to the extent that I have on more than one occasion had the other parties almost pull out of the sale), I decided to try out Blacks, on the recommendation of a friend.
I’ve been dealing almost exclusively with a conveyancer called Michael Leaf who has been an absolute star.
Email response is almost instantaneous and he keeps everything nice and simple. He’s very down-to-earth and friendly whilst at the same time super-professional.
(I actually think he might secretly be a machine).

Lie lie lie, to cover the fact they appear to be completely bone idle.
Sat on enquiries for a whole 3 weeks from our solicitor while continuing to tell their client that it was with our solicitors when it so obviously wasn’t. If it wasn’t for having communication directly with our sellers Blacks would have dragged the purchase out for months.
Not sure what people pay for when it ends up being the clients that kick their backside into gear. It was only when the sellers hit the roof that they actually did something about it.
Then when completion day finally comes, they even need pushing to

Would not recommend!!
I had multiple occasions when they had just sat on my case for weeks at a time and didn't progress anything. They never took my calls or when someone did anwser, the person I needed was unavailable and never called me back even though the receptionist promised they would.
Gave me a completion date and then went on holiday without handing over to a colleague so we were all stuck on completion day! What a farce!
Genuinely displeased with the service. They gave me a discount because they knew they were in the wrong but I'd have preferred it done right the first time. Complaining

Couldn’t say a bad word about our experience with blacks, Clare had been reassuring all the way through the process of buying our first house, she replies to emails nearly straight away and has been so helpful.
Would 100% recommend blacks and would definitely use them again myself.
Made the stressful time of buying a house so much easier and put myself and my partner at ease through it all. 10/10 service.
