In our rapidly changing world children need to be encouraged, stimulated and supported to reach their full potential in a positive environment "where it is fun to learn". Each child can learn, play, socialise and develop the foundations needed for later life. To provide a safe and stimulating environment where learning is a natural process and fun.
Support from a key person assigned to your child and additional support from the staff team and other professional agencies in relation to your children and families. Encouragement for parents/carers to be involved in activities at the nursery to support their child. Setting a rich and stimulating environment in which the aims and principles of early childhood education can be delivered.

Services
Union Grove is a non- profit organisation providing a home from home environment and want people to feel like part of a family. Everyone is working together for the good of the children as practitioners, ensuring the children's learning and that they are meeting all the developmental needs of each child.
On taking up a place in the Nursery (minimum 2 days or 2 sessions a week) you will be asked to pay fees in advance. Fees are not applicable to families who access only the Free Early Learning places (15/30 hours). The fee must be paid irrespective of whether your child is present or not. Fee increases will be made on an annual basis on notice from the Management Committee.
Training is a very important aspect of development for the staff at Union Grove Nursery, in order to continue the excellent standards of good practice we continuously strive to maintain a high level of training and development which is designated over 3 days per year. A high standard of training enables our Early Years practitioners to fully implement the Early Years Foundation Stage Principles Curriculum.
Union Grove Community Nursery (EY361828) has remained opened throughout the pandemic and continues to provide quality and affordable childcare at 110 Union Road, First Floor, SW8 2SH. Please contact us on 0207 720 6185 or email us at info@uniongrovenursery.co.uk to enquire for a place for your child and we will be happy to arrange a viewing.

My eldest son, who is now 7, went there and my 2 years old goes to the nursery at the moment.
I love the nursery and the staff makes me feel I’m leaving my child with Family; you get the feel that the nursery is for community; the passion and dedication they bring is amazing. The level of care is very high and my son is so happy there which makes me feel good about leaving him and going to work. He developed his skills so quickly in term of speech and physical development, and didn’t take long to settle in at all. The staff is very friendly and the management is very welcome. And I’m so

I have sent both my children to this nursery and have been very happy with it. It's a very nurturing friendly environment, where the staff understand your child and tailor the activities to suit and stimulate their interests. Staff turnover is low which is great. It's run as a not for profit community nursery which keeps costs down, and means that as a parent you can get involved and help to make it the sort of nursery you want it to be.

I have had my son in the nursery for 2 years (2yrs - 4yrs). I am so pleased to have selected the nursery. The stuff are amazing and my son is well adjusted. He loves the Nursery and the teachers. It has been an absolute delight to see him excel through his development stages with the help of the attentive stuff. The key workers have always taken a deep interest in him and always informed me of his progress. All other stuff members have also been wonderful and friendly. As he progresses into primary school, I am sure the base learnings from nursery will put him a step ahead. If you are looking for

Lovely nursery with great staff and a very enriched environment. The nursery offers a wide variety of healthy meals, stimulating activities which reflect the nursery's ethos of "learning through play", great value for money (I believe they are the lowest fees in the area), caring and nurturing staff. The nursery has two different sites currently divided by age groups (site 1 for 3 years and over, site 2 for babies aged 3 months up until their third birthday). The nursery sites are situated a road apart. All 4 of my children attended this nursery and all florished there. My youngest still attends

The worse nursery that I ever experienced!! We left 4 years ago,but still on time to advise parents about this nursery!! On that time because of my English I felt that the staff Wasn’t helpful and yes laugh on my face when I was trying to say something!! My daughter started when she was 3 months and an half till a found her in a very dark room!! They call it sensory room! Oh yeah, she was nearly 3years,when they said that she likes to go there, but not true!! Very often she came home without any clothes, everything always wet,2/3 spare clothes a day!!
