Moda Operandi was co-founded by Lauren Santo Domingo in 2010 to empower people through exceptional design and fashion.

As a former Vogue editor, she noticed a disconnect between the bold, expressive fashion from the runways and what she saw in stores. Then, she saw an opportunity. Today, Moda carries hundreds of brands and designers across women's, men's, fine jewelry, and home, ships to over 125 countries worldwide, and employs more than 400 people globally.

Sent a disgusting coat covered in hairs and dust and wouldn't take the item back. Coat was also unfinished and clearly a B item. Threw the item in a ripped plastic bag, and haphazardly wrapped it in tissue paper. A $4000 coat. Horrible.

This is the first time and will be my last time I shop with Moda Operandi, my package was recalled by them due to pricing discrepancy on the site? I placed an order use the code "NEWTOMODA" which is offered to new customers, I didn't get any discount other than that, how can they recall such a normal order? That was ridiculous! Don't shop on Moda Operandi, they don't care about the customers at all and they have very unprofessional customer service.

One of the worse customer service I've ever experienced. I lost $300 from them, they literally have just stop responding to my emails. Do NOT buy from them, go to Saks, ssense, mytheresa or Net-a-Porter, anyone but them. trust me save the headache shop elsewhere.

Terrible customer service and something is wrong with their shipping.
I have shopped here 2x and both times my address was incorrectly transmitted to Fedex. It looks correct in the Moda Operandi app, but somehow they cut off and transposed part of my address. The packages got stuck in transit.
The first time, I was checking tracking and called Fedex. They told me the issue and were able to correct it.
The second time, my package never got delivered and was sent back to MO (no notifications to me!).
When I contacted MO, they were not even apologetic and just told me I would get a refund, zero acknowledgement

Avoid shopping here at all cost - dated policies and less than accommodating customer service. It is clear to see why the organization is struggling.
Do yourself a favor and shop at any of the other great sites that will make you feel like your are valued. I have a feeling in a year or so no one will have to be concerned with shopping here any longer........

Absolutely terrible customer service!! I purchased something with an an expected arrival day of March, I received half my order (it was a jacket and skirt combo, I got the skirt) in May. Didn’t hear anything about the other half of my order every time I followed up I was told it was 5 weeks away. After waiting another 4 months, delay after delay, I cancelled my order. Now I have to ship back my skirt to get a refund! Do yourself a favour don’t bother with moda operandi!!!

The worst Customer Service EVER! On 29th May, I ordered Jacquemus La Boite Leather Shoulder Bag from the Moda Operandi. Unfortunately, my order arrived damaged. On 13th June, I wrote an email to the Client Service Team to report the issue. It took me three days of waiting. The replies were disappointing. They said they did not have any… replacement available and what they could do best was to cover a cost of repair up to 50$. I can't disagree with the other reviews. For the price you pay plus shipping, you expect your expensive item to arrive with respect for it. I recently purchased a Moncler Genius bag from them and when the box arrived, I thought they were the ballet flats I ordered from Net-A-Porter. After a closer look at the label, I realized it was my large Genius 4 bag. The bag was literally stuffed inside their orange dust bag and not a Moncler dust bag. This is not the first time I bought something from Moncler in the bags department. They always come with their dust bags large enough to house the entirety

Ordered a bag 3 weeks ago. Received the wrong item. Contacted customer service and was told to send the bag back and that they would contact the person who *my* bag was sent to in order to facilitate an exchange. Sent the bag back. It's been two weeks since and I haven't received any information about the item I purchased. Part of me thinks this company is a money laundering operation masquerading as a clothing retailer. I want to point out two major issues this business has .
1. Their prices are much higher than the retail price , and I am not sure why is that . I have pointed that out to them in an email asking them to explain why they triple their prices , when I can easily buy it from other website . I am attaching an example for the consumer to see that, they are overcharging their customers. I would understand if you are doing that if the item is exclusive to your stores and if you are not operating online , and if your "wealthy" consumers have not heard of the internet nor google

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with Moda Operandi customer service. Yesterday I received a dress that was ordered. It was too large. I contacted customer service and was informed that they would not exchange for the correct size nor refund me as this was a sale item. I asked to speak with a supervisor as this was my first order from MO and did not read the "fine print" on the return policy. I explained that the dress is still in the packaging and pristine. I was told there was no one that I could speak with.

I ordered a pair of Yeezy boots, got them and they were worn, like really worn. Scuffed, scratched and obviously not new! I went back to the sit to check if maybe it said used, and it did not. I could never purchase from them again because I don't trust I'll get what I'm actually buying.

For a A high-end retailer they sure do act low budget. Rude and incompetent customer service. Ordered an item that I was hoping to take on vacation with me and even payed for EXPRESS SHIPPING it's been 6 days since the I've placed my order and I have yet to receive shipping information. Contacted their useless "customer service" zero apologies and just an offer to refund my express shipping costs. Practically a scam. Have no idea how this is a luxury company. Placed my first order which arrived 2 days later than originally stated. Tried contacting customer service numerous times after realizing it would arrive later than expected, and stressed the importance of it arriving by a certain time as we needed it for a weekend away. Most of the time, customer service wasn't even reachable during the window of time they post on their website. In the times I did get through, they assured me it would arrive on time, and ultimately it did not. Had to return for a refund, and shipped my items back.

Never again! Errors and unresponsive.
I bought earrings from Moda Operandi. They sent me the wrong ones, then didn’t respond to my inquiries (while they had the limited stock, and could have held it for me), charged exorbitant amounts of postage ($75 AUD one way). Exchange is impossible and returns are a joke. I still have no idea if I will get my earrings or my money back!! All up I’ve spent $500 trying to resolve (the product was $261) with nothing to show for it - an absolute con-job!

Literally the WORST customer service I have experienced. This is a high end retail store but they certainly do not have a high end customer experience. I want to buy a $7k dress and the customer service keeps answering my emails with what seems like robot answers. I decided to communicate with the designer directly which has been a wonderful experience.

The absolute worst customer service. My credit card was double charged for an item I ordered. Another time, I called them regarding an error in an order and could not get in contact with anyone so finally had to file a complaint with the cc company. I also had called and emailed to make an appointment to shop for wedding dresses and no one ever responded. I have no idea how they stay in business with these practices.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

They ship their items whenever they please, even with "1-2 day shipping". Might as well call it "when we feel like shipping". I spoke to several people, the last being the manager and they really don't care about their customers problems. I canceled my order requesting a refund.
Stuck up and lazy. I've came across McDonald's workers who are much nicer and more helpful than them.

Shop at Net-a-porter instead and save yourself the hassle.

They really don't operate a way a luxury brand does. I ordered a product that was defective and they simply restated their policy that I would have had to know within 15 days, which is their return policy. For a luxury brand, it's really too risky to shop here. The next time I decide to purchase high end products, it will not be from here. It will be at a trusted retailer.

I have purchased from this internet Very High end pricy shopping site few items over the last couple of years. This time I placed an order on the 9th and the package arrived on the 16th . It was for 2 pair of shoes both or early low mark up sale both manufactured by Brands that I have had many shoes from before.. I received them excited to find out that the oscars are way too small I can't even place my foot into the shoe!
I called to find out that they are not interested to help to exchange the shoes for the size up and NO help whats so ever -TOO BAD as far as they are concerned! How unacceptable
