Often described as a "festival in a pub", weekends at the Magic Garden are all about big festival bands with the some of the finest DJs from the London scene and beyond!

Expect plenty of dancing and loads of fun - you'll hear everything from funk, Balkan and reggae to hip hop, ska and Latin. Socialise in our stunning garden, where we provide furry blankets and hot water bottles in case you're feeling nippy. Birthday parties and bookings are taken special care of - book with us to reserve a table for a memorable meal with friends.

Very poor service, waited over 15 mins to get served at the bar, then waited over 40 mins for the food to be delivered to the table. The food was not what I expected, not very much to choose from and not very detailed on what you actually get, when a pub says fish and chips on the menu, I expect to get battered fish, not a fillet of fish and sweet potato fries, burger and chips, is actually burger and sweet potato fries, and the burger was griserly. Then because they were a little busy they closed the kitchen and half my party didn't get to order anything at all. For the price they charge I really

Great venue, fun atmosphere with live music however I went in hoping for some food as someone who is gluten intolerant. I was told at the bar (despite it being labelled on the menu GF) I was told I wasn’t able to eat and turned away. Also, my friends were treated extremely poorly by management staff, who were very rude and aggressive towards a woman. I can’t recommend this place less despite the atmosphere.

Great outdoor space. But we booked for 20 people in advance, and there was only space for 16 of us packed tightly around three small tables. My friend asked inside about why this was the case and the manager was rude and aggressive towards her. Thankfully, the other staff members sourced some dining room chairs. Also claim to serve gluten free food but declined anything is gluten free when ordering. Overall a massive let down as I heard good things.

Had pre fireworks drinks at this quirky little pub near Queenstown Road station. The decor is totally bonkers but I like that. They were setting up stage for live music so put your dancing shoes on. Decent selection of drinks at okay prices. Friendly staff.

Starting with the good stuff, this place is lovely inside, the interiors have a warm feeling with very interesting and fun designs in each room. I was looking forwards to coming here for a dinner with my partner for her birthday and booked ahead. With confirmation messages from the magic garden prior, I was very excited. However, upon arrival there were only two staff members, live music was indoors no where near the seating areas and we felt ignored when wanting to order food, after waiting a long time with no instruction or help from staff we decided it was best to leave. I can't imagine what

This is a cute and quirky spot with outdoor - and yet covered - seating. We were there early enough that we didn't need reservations but it seems like you would definitely otherwise.
The menu, with its mismatched fonts, didn't do it for me, but it's fine for pub food. Comfy sofas and a carnival/boho vibe. You could imagine a tarot reader or a Punch and Judy show here with no problem!

Very poor experience. A group of 5 of us paid £5 each which was sold as a deposit to book. After an solidly average evening in the sub standard outside area we were informed that that money was not a deposit but was a booking fee. Awful hidden charges, untrustworthy place. Would not recommend

Charged 2 different prices for a pint in less than an hour. £1.50 for a dash of soda is EXTORTIONATE considering most establishments dont charge at all. Incorrectly charged items (charged for a dbl Absolut… Vanillia when i had a single Belvedere (charged £7.50). Its amazing what foto shop can do. Place looked quirky and kitsch but in reality was old, tired, dirty and i was expecting to find my food and drink laced with Magic Mushrooms! It doesnt seem to have been refurbed since the 60s! Food appears high end with prices to boot but the place looks bargain basement. The MAGIC

Here visiting from San Diego and came across this gem! From the staff, to the drinks to the food, all so amazing! Everyone was so welcoming, especially our bartender Chris. Someone in another post mentioned the mojitos, so we ordered a round. It was happy hour, so of course we did got the 2 for 1. Chris took his time and made them with live and expertise. It's been a while since I have had someone take their time making a drink. They went down pretty smooth! We were a bit famished from all the site seeing so we ordered the fish and chips and a cheeseburger. Both were heavenly!! Chris invited

Really lovely and cosy bar a 5 minute walk from Chelsea bridge. A small but delicious cocktail menu and great outdoor patio for larger groups. Enjoyed drinking in the outdoor black cab - complete with photobooth - then coming inside to listen to live v.eclectic music with some vegeterian treats and cheeses. A mixed crowd from all walks. I'll definitely be back.

What an amazing find.
Having been here once before to have after work drinks (after a softball game), I thought it was quaint quirky little pub, with an adorable character.

Today we decided to have a Sunday roast, and wow, wow, wow!!!

I had the roast lamb and it was absolutely mind-blowing! The best lamb I have ever had in London.
The jus, was amazing, a red-wine base that was slightly sweet but completely complimented the meal.

Mg partner had the roast chicken, which was really good but the lamb outshone the chicken.

The sizing was huge too, so filling and complete value for money at £13

Looking for a casual bite near Battersea Park and happened upon this place. No IPA to drink but a good Sauvignon Blanc for the lady. The food was excellent. BBQ chicken hearty and delicious with couscous, potato salad & coleslaw. Ham hock croquettes starter was crispier than it was tasty but came with a pleasant garnish of red cabbage & watercress. The superfood salad was medium size with a surprising but enjoyable citrus zest. All that inc drinks was £35 and defeated two of us. Nice atmosphere on the terrace out back and the promise of live music inside. Will be back.

Came here for lunch on a weekday. The place was totally dead and we were the only customers, but you could just tell that this place would be awesome with more people in it, and I would be very surprised if it isn't packed at the weekend.

It's nicely decorated especially in the conservatory and outdoors-y bits (though the pub smells a bit and needs a deep clean).

Staff were super friendly and my burger was very nice, for a decent price.

I'd go here again for sure if I was in the area.

I wasn't expecting much when going to The Magic Garden as its not the prettiest area and the exterior of the pub has seen better days. The main bar is nothing special but the beer garden is what really makes this place stand out and it must be really good during the summer. As it was a Sunday most people at the party had the meat or nut roast, while I had the Wagyu burger. The food was excellent and definitely one of the nicest pub meals I've had, The staff are really friendly and the atmosphere really relaxed. Would I go there again? Yes!

I have to say that I couldn't find anything magical about this place.

I came in after work during happy hour and proceeded to the bar. I didn't feel like the bartender was particularly friendly..and the mojitos weren't brilliant either. We decided to head outside to the outdoor garden area to enjoy the warm summer weather.

It is a really unusual space, filled with a jumble of old living room furniture.. but outdoors. The sofa's looked tired and dirty, in desperate need of being replaced. There was a strange mix of clientele when we visited.. I'm not exactly sure why,

Very eclectic antique decor, lots of cool things to discover here with secret places to hide and sit. Food is very good. My compliments to the Chef! The lamb shoulder for lunch was beautifully charred with lots of flavor. The antipasti dish was also delicious. They have a variety of wines and other drinks plus live music on the weekends. Great find :)
