Our new menus are laminated with a special antimicrobial coating for extra hygiene and as always, your well-being is important to us. It's brilliant to have you back in and dining with us and to once again have the hustle and bustle of a busy kitchen, happy customers and wonderful smells all around!
Services
The first pizzeria in Wimborne. Following Maurizio's partnerships with Enzo Galvagno and Danny Pegoraro the business is now owned solely by the Savoca family, his Sicilian heritage having a major influence on the dishes for the specials board. For those who don't remember, the first premises had only 8 tables, it was very 'intimate'.
Prices and menu items subject to change. We also have two or three 'specials' which change regularly. Our pizza dough is made fresh in house every morning, sauces and other dishes are also freshly prepared by our team - there are always wonderful smells emanating from the kitchen! We use local suppliers wherever possible and some of our own organic home-grown vegetables even make their way into our dishes during the summer months.
In order to book a table on the same day it is required, please call us on 01202 880932 during our opening hours. There is usually somebody around to answer your call from 9.50am - 2.30pm and from 5.45pm onwards. During lunch and dinner service it can get a little too busy to answer the phone, if we don't pick up please try a little later!

Shame, rather disappointed
Food - Ordered x2 Pizza, 1x Garlic bread, pizza bases were far from neapolitan pizza, were much like shop bought pizza bases for an astronical price, bit disapointing when your looking for an authentic italian restaurant.
Service
service was okay, older waiter was rude and abrupt preasuring to pick from the menu on the spot, rather than giving us more time to order.

I've have been a huge fan of Piccolo Mondo since the very beginning in its first location, it has got better and better and never tired at all, Maurizio, the owner, is a great cook and and even better host, last night nine of us (including two small kids) had a great and fun meal, & left with the warmest and fuzziest feelings ever! Another table even sent over a bottle of wine and a lovely note for Mum who taught them many years ago, thank you, thank you!
