After previously been involved in the restaurant business for many years, We wanted to introduce a new style of pizzeria to the Bournemouth area, using a genuine purpose built stone baked pizza oven and fantastic traditional hand throwing pizza dough. Then we met our head chef Massimiliano Luzzi who brought our ideas to life.

Come down and give us a try! I live just 200 metres away from the restaurant and always see a lot of people inside so finally tried it out. Really nice place and food, good value for money. They have lunch menu as well, very good price for a main dish + salad. The staffs were very friendly and helpful, helping us choosing from the menu.

Fantastic restaurant which was recommended to me and I've been several times since. The staff, food and atmosphere are all amazing and I love the fact its a small, independent restaurant and not a chain. Recently had a birthday celebration there, it was fabulous.

Really nice restaurant with very friendly staff. The starter was nice, but the pizza really didn't taste of much. The desert was fine. Nothing wrong with any of it, I just found the flavours underwhelming

Really impressed with everything, all staff are lovely but a special mention of Claudio who made an anniversary meal feel really special and we were taken great care of. And the food is something else, authentic and tasty. One of my favourite places to go for dinner and drinks for any occasion.

What a fantastic restaurant, great selection on the menu, the food was amazing, but the service was outstanding. All the people working there really make you feel welcome, and nothing is too much trouble. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I've been coming to this restaurant since they first opened and it used to be really good and I recommended it to everybody I knew, great food, great prices and friendly staff made for a great atmosphere. Unfortunately as they've got bigger over the years the food and the standards have got progressively worse, been disappointed on my last three or four visits. Tonight we were late eating so decided to get a couple of take-away pizzas, well, both were undercooked but my Calzone was appalling! Raw dough and it was practically empty with the meanest amount of filling in the centre, it was truly awful

Superb. One of the best authentic Italian restaurants I've eaten in. Friendly staff, plentiful delicious food. The Sea bass and king prawn special was great and the tiramisu out of this world. Highly recommended.

Had a great meal here last night with my family. Food was amazing, personal highlight for me was the Tiramisu cake, not too heavy and very refreshing.
The staff were fab. It was very busy and the staff were still attentive and friendly :)

The best Italian I've ever tried. Staff were really helpful the whole time, it was really difficult to pick just one main and they're HUGE! This was the risotto with spinach and mushroom, amazing. Calzone is also very good!
Definitely coming back, best restaurant in Bournemouth by far.

This is a fantastic little italian place in Winton! The speciality is pizza, and you do get a lot of pizza for the price. Ballaggio gives you the real deal italian style, a really thin base with a lot of topping. They don't serve alcohol here, but you can bring your own for a small charge, or if you buy it at their friends corner store down the road you don't have to pay it at all! A good place for family and just for friends to have a nice meal together.
