Services
We have a team of experienced and highly qualified practitioners at both sites who will work in partnership with you to provide the best possible start for your child. The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is embedded within all our practice as we support children as they learn through play and use the environment to enhance the natural curiosity of children.
All you need to do is provide us with a suitable room at your venue (preferably near the toilets), furnished with tables and chairs and leave the rest to us. We will bring all the necessary equipment and toys geared to the ages of the children. We will run the creche to cover all or part of your function and celebrations, depending on your preferences.
At Littleways Day Nursery we aim to provide the children with a healthy and nutritious diet. The food is mainly vegetarian and fish. There is a separate menu for babies and all the food is made fresh each day on the nursery premises. Babies are weaned from 6 months after consultation with parents. Our son has attended Littleways since he was 9 months old.
As parents/ carer you will have a very clear idea of what you want for your child and our partnership with you is to promote the needs of your child. Before your child starts nursery we like to spend time with you and your child, by way of the free trial sessions. We will keep you informed of your child's day by a written diary and by regular communication with the staff involved with your child's care that day.
Teaching is rooted in a secure knowledge of the statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage and a comprehensive understanding of how children learn. Staff practice is good and in several instances outstanding. Leaving my daughter in nursery for the first time was so hard! Littleways staff were so kind to her and I knew she would be just fine. 2 years later, my daughter is a happy chatty and confident 3 year old.

Sent my youngest child here a few years ago for a few months before a opening came up at my local school nursery. Was impressed with the professional behaviour of the staff and good security procedures. Inside the nursery is active on all 3 floors, they have good lunch menus for the children, hygiene levels seemed to be good and my child enjoyed his time here.
