Services
The Babbacombe Palms is a family run Guest House in Torquay offering bed and breakfast where comfort and cleanliness is assured. We believe at the Babbacombe Palms that breakfast should be a big part of your stay and with 30 years experience in the food industry, we can offer the very best quality breakfasts for our guests.
Prices shown are per room, per night, based on two adults sharing a room and include breakfast. A non refundable deposit of 20% or the first nights stay which ever is the greatest, is payable to secure the booking. In the event of a cancellation less than 14 days prior to arrival, we reserve the right to charge the full amount, unless we are able to re-let the room.
Babbacombe Downs has the highest cliff top promenade in England, and on a clear day you can see right across to Portland Bill in Dorset. If you've got a good head for heights, Babbacombe Cliff Railway - operating since 1926 - is a great way to get down the cliff to Oddicombe Beach below. Further along the coast you'll find Babbacombe Beach, where you can often spot dolphins and seals playing offshore.
Travel up the very long steep hill. DO NOT take the B3192 sign-posted Teignmouth and Shaldon but carry on for approximately 5 miles and take a left turn onto the A381, also sign-posted to Teignmouth & Shaldon. Follow this picturesque route and when coming down the hill into Teignmouth, take the right hand slip lane at the traffic lights and turn right, going over Shaldon Bridge and follow the signs for Torquay on the A379.

Very pleasant stay for a few days break. 5 adult family members across 3 rooms.
Rooms were comfortable with small but functional en-suite. Excellent breakfast each morning.
Good location, 2 mins to the prom,
5 mins from high st shops
Wouldn't hesitate to book again.
PS. Very sociable and welcoming hosts!
