Hello and welcome from your resident host Anita (with occasional help from partner David). The Abbeyfield bed and breakfast is located very centrally in the main hotel district of beautiful Torquay, yet in a very quiet location on the corner of a quiet cul-de-sac. We're a 10-minute walk from the main seafront and beach, 5 minutes from the Riviera Conference Centre, 10 minutes from Torquay railway station and 5 minutes from Torre Abbey.

We offer free off-road parking as part of your stay as well as the use of our lovely walled south-facing garden. There's free fast Wi-Fi throughout the B&B, and we have a small licensed bar.

The Abbeyfield guest house is a licensed bed and breakfast situated in a Victorian villa with a walled garden for our guests' use. Our location is central - just a short walk from the main sea front - yet quiet, as we are on the corner of a cul-de-sac. Nearby are The Riviera Centre, Torre Abbey, Princess Theatre, Torquay railway station, South West Coastal Path and harbour with its diverse restaurants and bars.
Please note all prices are FROM and per room per night based on double occupancy and include breakfast and a guaranteed parking space. SINGLE OCCUPANCY We don't have any single bedrooms but offer a 10/night reduction for single occupancy of our double rooms. We have a two-night minimum stay, and the cost of the first night's stay is required as a deposit.
Torbay, also known as The English Riviera, has over 22 miles of glorious coastline to explore and a wealth of local attractions and events. It is also within easy reach of a number of fantastic Devon attractions such as Dartmoor and Agatha Christie's holiday home Greenway. Local attractions close to the Abbeyfield include the Princess Theatre, a short 9-hole golf course, water sports and sea trips to name but a few.
We aim to make everyone's stay as comfortable as possible. We have six bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor and which can be arranged as either a twin or super king-sized bedroom. This room is close to the entrance, is wheelchair friendly and also has a visual fire alarm for the hard of hearing.

Great place to stay, very clean and homely. Extra touches in our room and en-suite, e.g. fresh flowers, fruit bowl, all bathroom accessories with beautiful fresh clean towels. Breakfast was a superb choice. Anita, our host was very professional, caring and friendly who went the extra mile to make sure everyone's stay was pleasant and enjoyable.

It was spotlessly clean, the bed linen pure white and very large fluffy white towels. We spent 4 nights here and loved it. The en-suite shower room was large with walk-in shower. The toiletries were of a very high standard and refilled regularly. There was a small fridge in the room which had bottles of water. There were teamaking facilities with a selection of tea bags, coffee bags, hot chocolate and also nibbles. As I am vegan Anita went out of her way to find something for me which was a Frys chocolate cream. These were refilled every day. There was also a small bowl of fruit in the room. The

Wonderful place, plenty of parking. Anita and Dave friendly nothing too much trouble. Room clean and welcoming lovely comfortable bed with lovely while sheets and four quality pillows. Welcome tray has everything, and fridge had water and locally sourced milk. Lovely comfortable lounge. Breakfast choice has something for everyone traditional or vegan all superbly cooked and presented. Made our visit to Torquay one to remember.
