As a photo is required for your licence the DVLA can use your passport photo if you have one. If you don't have one, or you want to use a different one, this will need to be sent to the DVLA separately. You can find costs for all licence types here. Before you start the hazard perception part of the test, you'll be shown a short video clip about how it works before being shown a series of video clips on a computer screen.
Tell me where you'd find the information for the recommended tyre pressures for this car and how tyre pressures should be checked. Manufacturer's guide, use a reliable pressure gauge, check and adjust pressures when tyres are cold, don't forget spare tyre, remember to refit valve caps. Tell me how you make sure your head restraint is correctly adjusted so it provides the best protection in the event of a crash.
Unfortuantely, statistics show that new drivers of any age are more likely to have a collission within the first two years of passing their test than at any other time in their driving career. While this is really just down to a lack of experience insurance premiums merely reflect the increased risk.
On your first lesson, you will need to print and produce your licence information. Use this link to get the appropriate information required by your instructor for your first lesson. I was quite a nervous driver when I began lessons with Stuart. He was great at building my confidence and teaching me to shake off any mistakes so I could move on and improve. He is calm, patient and friendly, and I'm. I would like to thank you for your Patience and the lessons you gave me. Especially the clutch balance and manoeuvres, which I could not have achieved with out you.

I used to learn with another instructor from RED driving school at Lancaster. It was such a stressful and painful experience, ending up a fierce quarrel and three failed tests. Then I moved to Reading and very fortunately found Stuart. His professionalism, patience, clarity in teaching has helped me start afresh and pass at my first test in Reading. I am thankful. I would unreservedly recommend his lessons to any learning drivers.
