Our driver training programmes don't just teach you to drive your chosen vehicle safely. As well as correct driving techniques we aim to teach a full range of skills. To be a great driver you need to know about your vehicle, with this in mind you will learn how to diagnose any malfunctions and inspect your vehicle.
Do you need to learn to drive a Category C Class 2 LGV/HGV? Whether it's for a change of career, or just picking up more skills to progress in your current job we can help you to pass the test. Our driving instructors have years of experience teaching in HGVs, and will be able to guide you through the process.
New rules from autumn 2021 mean everyone can legally drive a car towing a trailer. There is a difference between being legal and being safe, the DVLA recommend anyone towing a trailer or caravan should have professional training before getting to the road. Please see the new rules here. All Training is in our own vehicles.
When you first learn to drive a lorry, bus or coach you will need to get your Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC). You then have to do 35 hours of periodic training every 5 years to keep your CPC, to drive a lorry, bus or coach. Our driver CPC courses will keep you up-to-date. We organise our training per day, to fit in with your needs.

Can’t recommend Kim enough. Went for package 2, got all the information and revision stuff passed all 1st time , practical training with their instructor Ellis was amazing and passed first time with one minor!!! Class 1 booked in the coming the weeks and can’t wait!!! These guys really do know what they are doing!!

Learning to drive HGV with Kim couldn’t have been a better experience. Everything was made simple, from booking the theory right through to taking the test. Communication is great and they couldn’t be more helpful. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone, if I could give a higher star rating I would!

I trained with Kim and her team during the pandemic, and the professionalism was second to none. I booked my class 2 with Kim and they booked everything from my theories, tests and CPC exam. Getting me back working after being made redundant during covid. I now drive and transport horses as my job, and I love it! Thanks Kim and team!

I done my D1 minibus training with Kim driver training and they where first class from start to finish, a big shout out to Carl my trainer who made things a lot easier even tho he will tell u how it is, I thoroughly enjoyed the training and would highly recommend Kim and the team, 5 stars from me.

Kim made everything so easy...I now drive a 26 tonne truck with confidence! First time passes for everything. I am not your typical trucker...a very girly girl, but Kim was so supportive, I never doubted I could do it for one minute, which considering I do doubt myself constantly was a miracle!!! Excellent experience. I did my category C (rigid vehicle) course with Ellis in a 10 metre long vehicle having never driven anything larger than a Renault Master. He was incredibly patient and knowledgable, relaxed and chilled whilst we graced Oxford with our presence. Passed on my first attempt.
