The service is impeccable, and the setting clean and well maintained. The menu seems quite "standard" but the food delivers quality all ingredients seemed fresh and well prepared. Portion size was fair. There are other Indians around the area that are cheaper but not sure any are better. Look forward to returning.

I have been a regular at the Tamarind for a number of years and it has never once been anything other than exceptional. The food in particular is the best I've found locally to Norfolk if not much further afield. I encourage you to try it out for yourselves and I can safely guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Always delivers a fine Indian dining experience. The owner made a point of coming to our table to apologise for the large number of takeaways being collected and gave the ladies in the party a bottle of wine as an apology. To be honest we had not been inconvenienced or even noticed... a lovely touch though

First time visit to Tamarind. Satnav was spot on to the location. There is plenty of off street parking outside the restaurant.
Greeted by very friendly and attentive staff. Not too busy at 6.30pm. Tables spread out so it felt very comfortable.
The menu was full of very appetising dishes at equally reasonable prices.
The main courses were cooked to perfection and tasted superb!
I would have no hesitation in recommending Tamarind Fine Indian Dining!

A one off visit during our vacation. The meal was prepared with fresh ingredients and delicate sauces. I had one of the house specials which was slow cooked lamb shank in a unique sauce...really tasty. The restaurant is well finished internally and a real gem in the small Norfolk village of Blofield. I hope I get a chance to dine their again soon. Thanks for your efforts in making this a pleasant dining experience, keep it up. Colin.

Excellent food and service! Well served! We were brought poppadums with a chutney tray for an appetizer. I had Jaipuri Khazana with mushroom rice and Sag Aloo, potatoes with spinach. My guests had chicken Tikka Masala with rice and Tandoori chicken wings. Heated finger wipes were supplied to us.
Only issue, my guests did not care for the wine and I thought my Ginger ale was a little flat. A waitress was a little brusque when I didn't recognize the poppadums and asked what it was. I have not been to an Indian restaurant in decades.
The rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food

I've eaten at the Tamarind several times during my visits with family in Blofield Heath. I've always found the food to be fresh, sophisticated and delicious. The saag paneer is one of the best I've had anywhere. The menu has a wide variety of dishes, including several for vegetarians. The service is attentive and the owner is very friendly. I wish they would move to New York because I think the Tamarind rivals just about any Indian I've had there!
