Used MARS last year for my MOT. My car had failed its MOT two weeks before it’s due date I was depaterate to get it re-done before it expired which meant it needed to be done on New Year’s Eve!! Matt slotted me in as I am a key worker as he had opened up to do MOT’s for key workers on NYE.
The service provided and professionalism was so good I booked again for this year! My 17year old Celica passed with a couple of advisories and I got informative feedback on those advisories. Great local garage.

I have been using MARS garage for three years on recommendation from family members. Always personable and efficient telephone communication, friendly reception staff, good value work and honest and clear pricing. Arrived on time for a timed appointment for 2 replacement tyres. Covid conscious didn't wait but went for a 40 minute walk. On return I was told the car was still being worked on. 25 minutes later I was advised that "they are just putting the wheels back on now." 20 minutes after that I was told they had the second wheel off now! 1 hour 35 minutes to change 2 tyres clearly wouldn't get the fitters a job on Formula 1. I felt sorry for the receptionists having to apologise for what was a totally rubbish level of service. The tyres were fiited fine....

Took my fathers car in for a service, all running fine as it had been for the 40+k miles since he'd bought it (with about 5k on the clock). It was handed back to me with a comment that it was difficult to start (it wasn't). In fact it was only running on 3 out of 4 cylinders. I don't expect to be handed back a car with a significant defect that wasn't present when it was delivered to them, especially when it only went in for an oil change.

Amazing service from Mars Matt's Auto Repair again. My husband's car was broken into and we were so stuck needing the car to be up and running. MARS had it repaired and sorted by lunchtime the very next day, literally all sorted in one morning including finding a part that was amazing value. Excellent service. They are seriously one in a million, trust them completely and wouldn't go anywhere else.
