The bar itself resides in the former home of the Fletcher family that built the Manor house in the 1800's. When inside Fletcher's, enjoy live sports on the multiple HD TV screens whilst exploring our extensive range of beers.

One of toughest pars on the course (par 5 for the ladies). Rated 2nd most difficult opening hole in the UK by Golfshake.com. A slight dogleg left with sloping fairway right to left. The ideal tee shot should be shaped from right to left leaving a long to mid iron into a well-protected green. Approach shots dropping short of the green will usually kick left where trouble awaits.
Arriving through the lush green surroundings of Allerton Manor, you will arrive at The Hay Loft, a spectacular grade II listed building. Then as the celebrations run deep into the early hours, there is laughter, joy and dancing - but more importantly memories that last a lifetime. Accommodating up to 80 day guests, our exclusive space, The Hay Loft, combines original character and a contemporary feel - complete with a private bar and terrace.

Spent £90 for 2 adults and 1 child to see Santa. This included Christmas dinner and dessert. The place is significantly under staffed. The present received was complete tat. The most disappointing part was the dinner. I have seen better roasts dished up in a school canteen. Was completely gutted! The roast consisted of 2 pieces of a potato, 1 slice of carrot, 1 slice of parsnip, small slice of turkey, one pigs in blanket and a slice of stuffing, presentation was shocking!

What a lovely place. The weather was terrible when I went there and I never went inside since I was volunteering outside, but what I saw was lovely. There were people still golfing in the torrential rain (committed), the staff were nice and the scenery was lovely. I hear the food is nice there too unfortunately I haven't had a chance to find that out for myself yet.

Took my friend for her birthday , first time for us both, food was delicious, pipping hot ( New head chef), the place is so clean, and not over priced like some places. such a lovely atmosphere, staff were brilliant, even sang happy birthday to my friend, would definitely recommend and will be returning.

Very disappointed! My friends arranged to take me for afternoon tea as a treat because I had not had one before, booked by telephone in October with dietary requirements confirmed only for us to arrive and be told there was no booking.
We decided to stay and eat anyway as you said there was a table available. We were seated in the window but… underneath a heater which we had to ask to be switched off twice, it was turned off when asked both times and cold air switched on after the second time of asking.

My son and now daughter in law had their wedding at this venue on Friday, all I can say is a big thank you to the chef's who did and the BBQ and bacon butties, the waitress and room set up staff the function… room was amence, the bar staff and finally the toast master, who made the day go like clock work You ladies and gents made the day every special for the happy couple and all of their guests. I and Lorraine thank you

I cannot believe the results on this page. EVERYONE I know who goes to this venue says the place is amazing, but the staff amd service are very average. However, this is not their fault - they are not being led by people that are experienced. So many cases of poor food/ cold food, slow service, apathy from staff, disinterested management.
It’s so disappointing as the venue and setting is beautiful.
Getting a great review is a lot easier than a challenging review which showcases poor service. This site is misleading I’m afraid

Had a lovely afternoon at the Old Stables restaurant today. Weather wasn't great but the heaters help a lot!
Food was lovely particularly the fish and chips. Staff were very good changing our table at the last minute. I must say our young waitress Lydia was amazing a perfect mix of professional and friendly.

My family and I attended the most gorgeous wedding yesterday (Saturday 21st August) at the Hayloft. Everything was absolutely wonderful, food, venue,, location and everything. ALL staff were so friendly, attentive and professional at all times (especially Ant) and my family and I would like to thank everyone for the most wonderful day and experience. Well Done to all.

Wow, just wow. Clean, tidy, attentive and amazing food. Great selection of everything. Sirloin of beef is to die for with the most amazing homemade gravy and roasted vegetables. For dessert the homemade chocolate brownie, warm with ice cream is not without its charms. Anyone wanting tips oh how to deliver a roast to remember get yourselves a here.
