I would like to welcome you and your child to the St. Vincent's Catholic Primary School website. I hope you find the information on offer useful and that it will answer any questions you may have. St. Vincent's is very proud of its Catholic identity, our Mission Statement is: 'Believe, Trust and Be Ready' " That they may have life, and to the full."

John 10:10. This is at the heart of everything we do. As a school we work closely with all our parents, Parish and local community to ensure these values are lived out in all we do. Our school is a happy place where pupils are enthusiastic learners and teaching staff engage effectively with all pupils and have excellent relationships with them.
Services
Here you will find information about what we are learning in school and how you can support your children at home. Firstly we would like to thank you for your support settling the children into school. All the children have settled well are enjoying being part of St Vincent's Catholic Primary School.
They have made a fabulous start to the year and are full of energy and enthusiasm for the year ahead. The year will run slightly differently to previous years but we aim to keep working alongside you and ensure we support the children to continue to thrive in school. There are two class teachers in Year 1, Miss Billington Monday to Wednesday and Mrs Dowler Thursday and Friday.
This year, Year 2's School Councillors are Evie and Conor. There were many worthy candidates who each gave wonderful presentations to the class, however when the votes were counted, these two won the majority of votes! We are sure they will represent our class fabulously. Routines: The Key Stage 1 doors will open every morning at 8:50am and will close at 8:55am.
We've had a very busy start to the Autumn term so far and the children have shown that they are an enthusiastic, hard-working and creative group of young people. In Year 4 we encourage the children to show greater independence as learners and to develop their growth mind set in their approach to work.
In Year 5 we are working on making good choices and being supportive, cooperative and enthusiastic learners. We take great pride in ourselves, our work and in our class environment and have great fun at the same time. As Upper Key Stage 2, we have a lot to live up to so it is important to always be in the correct, smart uniform, to remember everything we need for each day and to show younger members of our school how to behave correctly.
