Services
I am a qualified psychologist from "La Sapienza" University of Rome and a qualified counsellor & psychotherapist from Edinburgh University. I am originally from Italy and have been living in the UK for 12 years. I am fluent in English, Italian and Spanish. I appreciate the difficulty and adjustments that are necessary for foreigners coming to the UK and the British culture and of course the weather!.
The counselling services I offer will provide you with a space in which you can explore anything that you need to. I will work with you in a very sensitive, non-judgemental and caring way. I will listen to you openly and empathically with whatever you bring into the counselling room. There are three main services I offer which can be used on a short or long term basis depending on your needs and preferences.
Couple or relationship counselling is when I work with two individuals in one session on a particular issue that is affecting their relationship. I work alongside the couple and seek to help them to understand what is going on in their relationship and then will endeavour to help them to work through these difficulties to find some resolution for them.
Only you can decide whether you wish to try counselling or psychotherapy. Just talking to someone confidentially who is not a friend or family member can make all the difference. Counselling or psychotherapy provides you with a regular time and safe space to explore your feelings and talk about your problems.
