Well what can I say, such a cosy, charming and esqusite place to stay, have afternoon tea or a cocktail. It's a medieval building and it's truly beautiful.

This is a great hotel to stay in when visiting Canterbury. Location is superb.
From the moment I called to book the room to the minute we left the service was of the highest quality.
We stayed for 3 nights and made to feel very welcome at all times.
Lucky enough to be upgraded to a suite, there was also somewhere to leave our bicycles.
All the staff were polite and helpful, particularly Alysha in the wonderful cocktail bar, and the kind gent who aided us with our storage requirements.
The room was very clean, towels were huge, mattress nice and firm.
Great selection of cocktails, with a knowledgeable

Ideal location yards from one of the city centre historic gate, so easy to walk into city for sightseeing etc. Good served breakfast. Rooms are in an annexe building, very cute and smart decor, but small and very irritating to access with luggage through an external door that needs a 7 character pass code tapped in, after dragging your bags across a very uneven outside surface. So, it's quirky and pretty, but not too practical. Friendly staff. Nice sitting rooms inside the main building of you need somewhere to sit for meetings etc.

Beautiful old hotel full of charachter and close to the town. For me, the water pressure in the shower was epic. I know it sounds an odd observation but in such an old building, I was pleasantly surprised by the bathroom!
Possibly room for improvement in the breakfast.
The four poster bed in the standard room we booked was a wonderful surprise and felt like a trip in time.
Lovely experience overall we shall certainly return

We booked a cocktail making class for my husband's birthday-which was good fun and really interesting. Very informal but great to be in the company of someone who knows their trade and clearly loves their job. We returned with our friends and had an equally great time. We will definitely return.

We stayed in one of the junior suites for four nights. The room felt like it was full of character, was spacious, very comfortable and had a wonderful bathroom, big walk in shower as well as a nice & deep bath!
Breakfast each morning was quick & delicious.
We only used the bar on one night, and the guy serving us was attentive, quick & friendly.
We did have an issue one morning where we didn’t have any hot water in our room, but the lady on reception was able to arrange showering facilities in another room. Another example of the great service we felt we had during our stay.
Fully recommend

Stayed 2 nights in a superior room which was in the annex. Room was spacious and well furnished. Being away from the road the annex was quiet, although there could be noise from the adjacent pub garden but this never affected us. Parking is an extra £10 a night but convenient. Hotel is in a good location for Canterbury. Recommended.
