Broome Park Hotel
The historical Broome Park Estate was established during the reign of Charles I and has, as its centrepiece, a magnificent Grade 1 listed Mansion House. The house was completed around 1638 and is one of the finest examples of Carolean architecture in England.

During your stay, in either one of our spacious mansion house suites or in one of the superb woodland lodges, you know that you will be looked after by our willing and professional team from the minute you arrive at the estate gates. This is what makes us one of the most popular hotels in Canterbury.

Venue is amazing, the staff are awesome. A few little bits on the way food service was conducted, if you have a larger group, I would suggest paying closer attention to what is brought out. However that said. I recommend this venue.

Visited today for afternoon tea gifted for our birthday. Lovely hotel full of charm and in fantastic grounds. Service was 1st class from the moment we arrived. Really nice food, coffee and bubbly. So much food we couldn’t eat it all.! Highly recommend.

We enjoyed an afternoon tea here that was very good. Sandwiches, scones and cakes all lovely. Only criticism would be the staff knowledge of what is available and being served in the sandwiches. No offer of what different teas or coffees are available or advising the contents of the sandwiches. They were however very friendly. Beautiful setting.

Beautiful building, really stunning. Staff overall were quite nice and helpful. The rooms are nice but there's definitely some shabby areas but I understand that they are in the process of refurbing. Our room was above the restaurant/kitchen and it was pretty loud from around 7am-11pm which was a bit disappointing. I'm aware it's a grade 1 building so soundproofing is minimal but should be consideration of this as it did disturb an otherwise restful stay. The food was a bit of a letdown overall, breakfast options were limited and not great quality. Everything was edible but just very generic chain

Friendly staff but the building needs a little TLC here or there. Open fires in the entrance hall and a walk around the grounds. Great breakfast. It included fresh honeycomb which was a first for me. Enjoyed time at their bar and snooker table too.

I traveled with my family to celebrate my birthday at this hotel. I have a 7mo baby and the experience was awful. The first bedroom they gave us had mould on the wall and water was leaking from the ceiling on our bed. We arrived very tired, with a baby that just wanted to sleep, so we didn’t complain straight away. When we woke up with the duvet almost soaked from the leaking we were moved to an “upgraded” room, that consisted in the coldest bedroom I have ever been in my life. The bed was veeeeery tiny as well. We kept all 3 heaters on at night and still had to wear 3 layers of clothes to

A beautiful building ,well maintained, lovely grounds and golf course, what let's it down is the out dated and lack of modern disability needs, for a building of this size and many uses it really needs to update its toilets ,for wheelchair use and not enough safe and secure ramps either .the staff were very nice and helpful but this doesn't make it nice for a disabled person to have to keep asking for help! ...shame as the staff are nice !

Stayed in a lodge and was very happy with it. Fully equipped with everything you need for cooking and cleaning. Comfortable for 4 people and 6 if you don't mind a sofa bed. The grounds are beautiful as is the main building. Going to book again soon. Highly recommended.

I had the pleasure of visiting the venue for one of the most special of occasions, a wedding. The facade of the building was impressive and the reception area a classic step back in time to a period of sumptuous leather, imposing fireplaces and beautiful wood and draped curtains. The service was held in a pleasant garden area and the rest of the wedding was held in a Marquee (in the grounds). The food and service was adequate but nothing out of the ordinary. Considering the venue and reputation, I was expecting something special, traditional, impressive with highly trained staff. Sad to say I've

A very popular golf course with a constant run of traffic. Even with this however there was a very well managed tee time rota with a very welcoming golf course starter who gave us a few tips before on holes 3,5 & 7 that were very handy.

After getting around the first 9 with a slight struggle made it to a much welcomed half way house that does the most delicious hot dogs and coffee to go!

The course was great for me as was so well designed that for someone with my skills didn't have to worry to much about the shot going towards other golfers!

A fantastic looking course and a marvel
