Lovely room. Clean. Good continental breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Water for a bath was not hot enough. Canterbury is a popular city with lots of young people so in any room in Center that overlooks the street you need earplugs. Over all, this is a very nice hotel.

Only been here for 3 hrs, as expected the hotel is old with small rooms etc, but as I'm only sleeping here, that's no problem and the bed feels comfy, there is a continental breakfast in the morning, meanwhile there's a kettle with t and coffee etc , I'm sure my next three days and nights will be satisfactory . Oh just noticed a packet of biscuits

Great location, but the facilities are not great. Low pressure on the shower in our room, with hard water. Breakfast in very basic. However the rooms were clean and spacious plus the beds were comfortable. If you need something basic and in a good location it fits the bill. Parking is available and costs £12 a day which is fine but it is in a car park which is about 5 minutes walk away. You can park outside to unload.

Rooms clean and pleasant. Hotel positioned perfect for the high st and theatre. Downsides - Unable to get an extra bed added to the room even though it was advertised on Booking.com that you could. Bar selection was very limited, only 1 beer on tap. Big crowd at the theatre and unable to attract the crowds paints the picture that the hotel is struggling. Biggest disappointment was the continental breakfast, no cooked breakfast! Overall, very disappointed. Needs better management to get this place up and running again.

Really nice restaurant in hotel. Fairly busy and popular with the theatre goers so need to plan in advance. Good and varied menu and reasonably priced. Friendly staff.
