At Blue Sky Day Nursery we are striving to provide the best childcare for your child in an environment that feels like home the minute you walk through the door. We are passionate about providing the finest childcare in a calm and stimulating environment where your child can grow, make friends and love to learn. We nurture children from the ages of six months to five years in three exciting learning environments, the baby room Moonbeams, the toddler room Sunbeams and the Rainbow Pre-School room.
Services
The moonbeams room is a cosy and interesting environment specifically designed for the younger babies at Blue Sky Day Nursery. We have created a warm homely feel where your baby can play, learn and grow. Our babies are provided with a variety of natural toys, books and sensory objects and with its calm and tranquil feel it makes for a perfect sleeping area.
The sunbeams room is filled with fun and excitement for our older babies and in keeping with our home from home feel the sunbeams room has a lovely bay window allowing the sun to shine in. Your child's development will continue to flourish with regular planned activities organised by your child's key person, all recorded on Tapestry allowing parents to access their child's learning journal at all times.
Topic of the month, as chosen by the children, is the theme running through the room whether it be arctic animals or a country, its fact filled and fun! The rainbows room has a very grown up feel with a nurturing space for the older children at Blue Sky Day Nursery. There is more routine here, with the children being encouraged to choose their own activities and resources as well as group time to encourage friendships.
The outdoor learning environment at Blue Sky Day Nursery is a hive of activity. Home to our secret den it's a perfect hide out to create stories and let imaginations run wide. We have designed the outdoor space so that our practitioners can continue to guide the children through their development and the Early Years Foundation.

We love this nursery. The staff are lovely and turnover appears to be low. Communication is responsive, not overwhelming, just spot on. My daughter is happy everyday at pick up. I really feel they go above and beyond. Prices are fair and transparent.

My daughter has been attending this nursery for 2 years and she has loved every minute of her time here. The staff are always welcoming, friendly and highly attentive of all the children's needs. They offer a wider range of well structured and varied activities that keep the little ones entertained and engaged throughout the day. My granddaughter has been attending blue sky day nursery since they opened in October 2017. She has a great time and is always excited about telling me what she has been doing at nursery when she comes to visit me. I have noticed she has grown in confidence since starting there. I also like that they do family events where I can go in and visit my granddaughter with her mum. I really enjoyed the Mother's Day afternoon tea that I was invited to. All the staff there are lovely and always willing to have a chat when I go in about my granddaughter development. Thank you blue sky day nursery.
