If you are looking for a high quality hotel with lots of character, this is the place to stay. This hotel has lots of history and charm and is located on a quaint little estate. The room was very spacious and had a little corridor separating the main room from the bathroom. The bed was king sized and the room had all the amenities you could expect is a quality hotel room. The decor was beautiful and my favourite was the old skool bathroom fixtures and fittings. The food I ordered from room service came quickly and was really tasty. The only negative for me personally was the TV which was a bit

Hotel was beautiful, staff were kind helpful and well organised however the food was terrible, my first impression was to book a room for the wedding as they received 25percent off. However I got my room for less than 70 online and if I booked with the hotel it was 99 so the wedding party has really lost out. Then the meal came, tomato 🍅 soup chicken and veg and a brownie. There was no part of my meal I enjoyed apart from finishing a 12 yes olds ice cream. The soup was like water and tasteless, the chicken was drier than the Sahara and impossible to chew, the vegetables were so plain and boring

Large hotel with grounds. Easy check in by friendly staff. Well organised breakfast and dinner and food was top class. Our room was lovely but mattress and pillows too hard so affected our sleep. Friends room next door wasn't up too standard. Shoddy dresser and chairs and wood put under the mattress as the base had broken. We had paid extra for an upgrade as well! Bar downstairs was busy as a wedding was on. Young staff really needed an older person to supervise them to prevent the need for waiting.

Stayed for a night BB & evening meal on recommendation. The staff were lovely, friendly and welcoming and the food was very good. The hotel has a relaxed atmosphere and the cocktail draughts were a novelty for… us and seemed very popular. The only thing I'd say could be improved was the room we had was in need of updating, however the bed was super comfy! I'd definitely recommend a stay here and can see us visiting again.

Lovely room, and reception and bar staff great. I enjoyed having a newspaper but on last morning breakfast was chaos. In 40 minutes of queueing I got 2 pieces of toast whilst going to do that some young men took my table. I gave up trying to get a cup of tea. Not worth the extra I paid for breakfast.

It’s a hotel of two halfs - we obviously got the absolute worst! False advertising. The room we finally got after the first one stank! Was well…. Absolutely nothing like we expecting from their website. It was… dirty, sink wouldn’t work, just really disappointed Service was poor in the bar. We actually decided not to stay and left. Hoping we get a response from the email soon!

Been several times for afternoon never been disappointment. Staff are all very attentive and very helpful. This is definitely somewhere worth a look if you have not been. The outdoor area is well set out and… beautiful views. All the areas for eating are all absolutely amazing beautiful settings. This is definitely somewhere where you could have a special occasion and it would be outstanding for photographs .

Lovely hotel in a lovely setting. Rooms were clean and modern. Bathroom had modern shower and was a good size. Room tastefully decorated. Staff excellent, couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast to die for with plenty of choice. Only one criticism was the price of the drinks but the rest made up for that. Excellent stay, would definitely recommend.

Booked a celebration package direct with the hotel and the certainly exceeded our expectations. A lovely afternoon tea with a great variety of fresh sandwiches and cakes. The spa facilities were great and not busy so felt safe. The room was amazing, we thought they had given us the bridal suite, they hadn't. The food in the evening had excellent choice and quality as was breakfast which was done in a covid safe way. All the staff were attentive and couldn't do enough to help which added to the ambience. Lovely histororical building. This was an anniversary treat on our way to our daughters but

Amazing hotel and wedding venue! ☺️ 100% recommend! I've experienced nothing but amazing food and drinks, beautiful rooms, amazing friendly staff and a perfect relaxing atmosphere. Our whole wedding planning… experience before covid and throughout it all (plus having to postpone twice!) has been above and beyond amazing. The days spent at the hotel for the actual wedding have been wonderful and if I had to redo it all again, I wouldn't change a thing. Thank you to everyone at Blackwell Grange Hotel for making it the best experience ever! ☺️
