Services
Chapelfield Veterinary Partnership is a five branch partnership in Norfolk with roots going back over 100 years. The very first roots of Chapelfield Veterinary Practice were established in 1904 when John Pollock FRCVS built a clinic in Orford Place, Red Lion Street, Norwich. And it was from here that the vets used to ride horses out before work in the mornings.
Although you may only see adult fleas or their droppings on your pet, they are continually shedding eggs into the environment (your home!). This is how flea infestations take hold in your house. Remember, for every adult flea on your pet, there are up to 500 developing in your carpets. If your pet swallows a flea whilst grooming it can then infest itself with a type of tapeworm that lives part of its lifecycle inside the flea.
We have video endoscopy that enables us to investigate respiratory and intestinal problems. Under a general anaesthetic, we can pass the endoscope down the trachea (windpipe) and into the lungs or down the oesophagus and into the stomach and small intestines (depending on the size of the cat or dog).
We believe that nutrition is an important part of keeping pets healthy and can also play a vital part in the treatment of some illnesses. This is why we stock a select range of cat and dog pet food in practice, helping to take the faff out of pet food for our clients by recommending diets that have been scientifically created to provide optimal nutrition, which tastes great!
As well as treating all sizes of commercial farms, CVP delivers the same expertise and level of services to our smallholders or hobby farmers. It is a Royal College Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) requirement that all vets in practice should complete at least 35 hours of CPD each year.

AT CVP, our vets undertake a variety of different things to fulfill their CPD requirements by attending courses and talks, reading articles, taking part in webinars and preparing and taking part in meetings for our clients. This means that our vets keep up to date with current techniques and medicines.

Used to have Victor (when he was at diff practice) he is lovely but when I called prior to getting new horse the unbelievably snotty attitude of receptionist (no money being made from me I guess) made me remember why so many people avoid this practice v sad really

Absolutely not happy at all. I booked for vet to come do flu vacs for my cob. I asked to be first on list as had work. I phoned up at 8 am and was told vet would be with me at 8.30am. 9 am I am still waiting as vet has gone to another person locally. I asked about my horses dietary needs and the vet had no positive ideas. After having had my cobs injection a few days later he was not him self. I phoned the surgery who said the vet will call me back. They never did. Today I had his second lot of injections booked. There are quite a few of us booked in at yard. I was informed vet would arrive about

The veterinary part is service is great but customer service and reception need to quote or establish for clients costs so things are clear. Like area visits vs regular visit charge and if there are actual misunderstandings good customer service would compromise since both parties were not made clear of services cost. Makes a huge difference to clients. I left with sour feeling about bill which could have easily been resolved not oh well attitude.
