Riverside Garage in Tideford has been carrying out MOTs, services and repairs on cars and vans for many years. As an independent garage, we are able to work on all makes and models of car and we are regularly updating our diagnostic equipment and training to assist in repairing even the most modern vehicle systems.

There was a time when I couldn't speak highly enough about the quality of work from riverside but that is not the case now ... I am fuming after receiving a £324 .90 bill for a mot on my van that failed on reg plate light not working , rear fog lamp and srs light on an nearside front anti roll bar linkage or Bush worn . The srs light needed switching off with diagnostics they replace d bushes and drop links both sides both of which I had replaced less than a year ago or 1500 miles and not on the failure sheet !!! When I picked up the van they had butchered a £63 rear door rubber I had only just

We had a problem with our vehicle as we neared the garage and managed to just pull in before our car stopped altogether. The team here helped us immediately even though we were not a customer and allowed us to wait on the garage forecourt while our recovery team and hire car were despatched. Dave and John both did an initial inspection and advised our action to get the recovery Couldn’t have been more helpful and professional and they were even extremely busy and went out of there way to help Thanks team Riverside garage - we would definitely recommend you

I cannot speak highly enough about the team at Riverside Garage. They went out of their way to ensure we were happy with the car we purchased and they accomodated all of our extra requests. The after sales service goes above and beyond what is expected and even though the car we bought was not the most expensive on the forecourt you would not have known by the service we received. A family run, honest business that provides a genuine trustworthy service.

After having a very bad experience with another car dealer, we stopped here to look for a car. Always drove past on the way to Plymouth. We were not pressurised at all, the owners let us look at the cars on offer. Took a car out for a test drive and loved it, still no pressure to buy. Explained our previous experience and the reassurance we received was amazing. The owners were very helpful, reassuring and so friendly, nothing was too much trouble.
Picked the car up yesterday, it was spotless! Still reassured by the owners even when leaving, so pleased we stopped here, this place is a hidden gem
