Fitzgerald Jewellers is a Canterbury based jewellers situated along the cobbled streets just a stone's throw away from Canterbury Cathedral. Owner and Founder of Fitzgerald Jewellers, Trevor Fitzgerald has been a jeweller since the seventies. It wasn't until early 2000 that he opened our now newly refurbished store but it really has gone from strength to strength.
For us, jewellery isn't just about trends. We carefully design all of our jewellery in house and hand make it on site in our workshop. Our goldsmiths continue to use traditional methods of jewellery making. The brands we present in store are not necessarily based on a style but the story behind them.

Services
A jeweller has been on our site since the war. Today, we have three Goldsmiths who design and make jewellery in our Canterbury workshop overlooking the Cathedral. They use a mixture of traditional and modern jewellery making techniques. Our Goldsmiths have a unique way of designing contemporary jewellery whilst maintaining a very traditional ethos.
If you follow us on social media, you'll hear us talking about cuttlefish casting a lot. It's a technique that we absolutely love here at Fitzgerald Jewellers especially when it comes to reusing your inherited jewellery to make something new. We use the cuttlefish bone that washes up on the shores of the Kentish Coast.

I bought a beautiful emerald ring for my wife for Xmas, custom made by the very talented and dedicated goldsmiths at Fitzgerald Jewellers. First class service, re-sized to perfection. I bought a ring as a surprise Christmas present for my wife. Fitzgerald knew this was a surprise as I arranged with them the specific time when I could sneak away to collect the ring. The surprise was however ruined when, two days before Christmas, they posted out a receipt for the ring address to my wife! Thanks for that.

I LOVE this shop. They made an engagement ring for us and the whole experience was brilliant. Very pleased with the service in this jewellery store! I ordered a pair of cufflinks and a matching pendant for my brother's wedding. The pendant is for my future sister-in-law. I've shown a picture of them to the artist in store to have an idea of their looks and told her a bit about them so she can create something to match their personalities. Both pieces have common features yet not the same but complement each other. I would definitely recommend this store and will most probably come back for more memorable pieces of jewellery to celebrate important moments in life.
