Our hotel consists of fourteen bedrooms, and our city centre location means that you're never far away from the shops, nightlife, and attractions. The bar at The Royal boasts a wide selection of beer, wines and spirits, and our new beer garden means we can welcome more people than ever before.
Services
You won't find cheaper rates anywhere else, booking direct means you'll always get the best available rate. All our bedrooms are en-suite and boast free wi-fi, flatscreen TVs, tea and coffee making facilities. Our luxury beds are designed for comfort, come along and try them for yourself. We currently have one parking space available to guests at the discretion of the hotel management.
At the Royal we aim to give you, our customer, an experience that will make you want to return and when you do we like to say thank you with our free membership scheme. From then on you will be entitled to a 5% discount on all food and drink, it's that simple. Although not all the information below is mandatory the more you supply the more ways we can reward.

The Royal Hotel and Bar is one of the finest hotels in Lancaster! My family and I were in town for 5 days and stayed here for the entire duration of our trip. The staff are amazing, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the location is perfect! It is located downtown, which means ease of access to stores :)

Room looked nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The shower had good water pressure and heat, the towels were big and soft. Hot drinks facilities were stocked well and a few complementary breakfast items were provided.
The bar was nice with a good selection of reasonably priced drinks, the staff were helpful and friendly and it's close to both the train and bus station.

We had great pleasure to enjoy wonderful garden and terrace outside today at The Royal Hotel & Bar. With super friendly and helpful staff, delicious food and nice variety of drinks. Everything was just perfect. Garden was renovated since the last time we've been there and it's great transformation. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Also kids friendly place. 👍
