At Pengelly Farm, our holiday cottages are well positioned in the centre of Cornwall making them the perfect base from which to explore the county. Each of our 4 cottages have a private terrace or garden, private BBQ, and a large communal courtyard with a gazebo in the centre. All our cottages apart from Melyn have a private hot tub.
Our cottages are pet-friendly and we have three ponds situated just off the farm, which you will be able to explore all year around and indulge in a spot of fishing. If you are looking for more seclusion, we have a new cabin, Dog & Duck, which is our own personal retreat by our private fishing ponds.

Services
Tucked away from civilisation, down a private drive, yet the A30 arterial route through Cornwall is a mere 5-minute drive away. The village is a short 15-minute muddy walk away, so bring your welly boots along to fully enjoy the countryside and ample walks. Upon arrival, you will be greeted with a Luxury cornish hamper full of goodies to enjoy over your stay.
Gwennel cottage is our final cottage of seven that has been completed. As a single-story building, we have made this final cottage wheelchair friendly. With no steps, wider doorways, appropriate handrails and wheelchair accessible shower this cottage is suitable for disabled and able-bodied guests alike.
Kocha cottage is affectionally known by us as our "honeymoon" cottage. Converted from the original coach house with the roof height the same as the two-story buildings, we have used the space by having a mezzanine style cottage. Set slightly back from the main courtyard, accessed through a short corridor, you get the feeling of a little more privacy.
Idless Woods (3.1 miles) The woods at Idless are run by the Forestry Commission and are just 2.1 miles from Truro city centre. Perfect for a peaceful, sheltered walk and popular with local wildlife such as deer, otter and badger. The Lappa Valley Steam Railway (3.3 miles) Three miniature linked railways around the valley, together with a boating lake, crazy golf and play areas.
It is very spacious, the hot tub is amazing and the scones, wine and roses where a great touch. Our children all voted to go back again so we have already booked a return visit next year. Great place for our dog who enjoyed the outdoor space and the lovely walks in the surrounding countryside. The pools are worth visiting and the hot tub was fab.

Spent 7 days in Bowji cottage from boxing day. Stunning spacious cottage located centrally to all the main beaches in Cornwall.
Central heated failed on new year's eve, and I was expecting to still be broken by the time we left, but was fixed by new year's day credit to the owners. Would definatly visit here again. The cottage was absolutly stunning and the owners were very helpful making our stay really enjoyable. Can't praise this place enough!!

Read the reviews and thought it would be a quiet restful cottage for my husband as he had been ill. Sadly it was the opposite as 12 feet away is a busy building site which starts work at 7.30 am. The place is throwing up dust and dirt so no chance of using the outside chairs or hot tub. Also
Acould not cook a meal as the oven was not working. Will not be returning

Really exceptionally clean. Warm and cosy. Comfy bed. Hot water. Control own heating in bedroom. Breakfast superb quality. Fridge in bedroom. Tea coffee in bedroom. Milk in fridge, more if you ask. Ben was a fantastic host... B&B, out in the sticks. Just be aware, that your not close to any shops, if you need nibbles or drinks, remember to get them b4 turning in for the night. Definitely going back *****

Incredible place! This was our second visit to these cottages as we love the real homely feel! The owners couldn't do enough for us and were so accommodating. The dogs were welcome and there were lots of great walks around, including the fantastic private ponds! Couldn't recommend enough. Thanks for a great trip!
