Services
Albion House, our home, is an old Tudor and Georgian house on the edge of Mylor village. A ship's Captain's home, it was extended in the 1780s in the days of the Falmouth Packet (mail) ships that left Falmouth to the outposts of the world. The Courtyard Apartment is at the back of the house at first floor level.
Significant in design The Yurt is set alone in a secluded corner at the top of a southwest-facing field. The field has been mown to give a large grassy area next to the Yurt and the field where we used to graze our pigs and cows is fallow and set aside and full of wildlife and birdsong, it especially enjoys the afternoon sun.
Mylor lies within a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is perfectly situated for exploring Cornwall, sailing, garden trips, creek walks and beaches. The friendly village of Mylor Bridge has been rated one of the best villages to live in the UK and is situated at the head of Mylor Creek.
From London we find the M4 and M5 to be the fastest route. Come off the M5 at J31 at Exeter and take the A30 via Okehampton, Bodmin, and then take the road to Truro. Bypass Truro and from Truro follow the A39 towards Falmouth. Take the first left after the Devoran roundabout at Perran-ar-Worthal, (signed to Carclew).

This is a beautiful cottage that I would love to own. Pen and Patrick were delightful hosts and made my grandson feel very special. He was very pleased with the toys provided. The trampolines were a source of great delight too. Chickens, birds and I'm sure I saw a pheasant wandering around made for interesting conversation. The flowers were gorgeous. We made a house for the fairies. Albion cottage is a place where you can actually believe that fairies must be living in the bottom of the garden.
