Roundhouse Barn Holidays
You'll find us tucked away on the Roseland Peninsula, one of Cornwall's hidden gems and an area of unspoilt and outstanding natural beauty. We have a stunning cottage for you to choose from for your perfect couples break. If you want peace, tranquility and a truly memorable break, you're in the right place.

A traditional cottage with a modern twist & free standing bath, Cockle Cottage provides its guests with character and charm. We spent a week in May at the Dairy. The property is beautifully furnished and comfortable. A wonderfully equipped kitchen, a very glamorous bathroom and a cosy lounge. All set in a very pretty garden.
Services
Cockle Cottage provides its guests with character and charm. With views overlooking the beautiful Cornish countryside and an open plan design it's the perfect place to escape to. Slate tiled bathroom with large walk in shower, free standing bath, under floor heating and easy turn taps. Newly refurbished kitchen/diner with full range of Neff appliances (microwave, dishwasher, oven, fridge, freezer, hob dishwasher and washing machine).
One of the advantages of the Roseland Peninsula is that most of what you would want to see in Cornwall is within an hour's drive - so why not use Roundhouse Barns as a base to explore further other parts of Cornwall without the hassle of having to check in and out of other accommodation? Roundhouse Barns is ideally placed for the best sailing and water sports that Cornwall has to offer.
Cornwall has the largest coastline of any area in England - that's almost 300 miles of coastline, nine river estuaries and about 300 beaches. There are great wide areas of golden sand, miles of sand dunes, hidden coves, famous spots and infamous places. You can paddle in warm sand pools; examine clear salt water rock pools; explore it, amble it and climb it.
Holidays wouldn't be the same without a decent coffee, a pot of tea and some home baked cake!. Freshly home baked cakes and pastries, home made sandwiches, Origin coffee - all set around a lake, with the original Mill wheel restored and working. To top it off there are are some quirky art installations around the lakeside walk.
You are never more that an hour or so's drive from the bulk of Cornwall's amazing attractions and some are a lot closer. Here are some of our favourite places to visit. All of them make for perfect day or half-day trips and are well worth a visit if you fancy a change from the glorious walks, unspoilt beaches or simply just relaxing in our beautiful cottages.
