Great service staff front of house. Very good food. It is towards the expensive end of pub prices but the quality and portion sizes compensated well. The pricing is about right. The beer was excellent, I had moletrap. Very good off road parking to the front of the pub. A great experience was had by all four of us. Thank you the Peacock.

We had a delightful stay at the peacock for our company Christmas party. The rooms are clean, nicely done, great shower/wet room and intricate attention to detail with information about the pub's history and the surrounding area. The kitchen staff did an amazing job serving us an 8 course tasting menu with some exceptional dishes, great wine to pair too with friendly and attentive front of house team looking after us. Would highly recommend.

Popped in for a drink and a quick bite to eat and I was met by a really friendly man, after talking to him it turns out he's the new Manager there, I'm a fussy eater but nothing was too much for him and I have to say the food was amazing! I couldn't fault anything and the whole afternoon was incredible, the atmosphere was welcoming from start to finish. Can't wait to return!

Food ok, but for what we paid we'd expect a bit more service and pleasant experience. People walk past the tables quite often through the small restaurant area to the back bar for ordering drinks, without mask (which is pretty annoying already if there had not been a pandemic). The day we went, there was further a group of 3 adults with 5 young children who could not envision not taking in their stroller in the small space whilst taking up the largest table in the place. Just hope for the pub's sake those children all ordered the full menu so they at least made some money.
