Stayed one night here as a stopover for visiting the Perth Yarn Festival on my way from Aberdeen to Stirling. Perfect location|easy to get to and from the motorway and so central I could walk a few minutes to get something to eat when I arrived in the evening and in the morning a 2 minute walk to the Yarn Festival at the station hotel.
From the A9 North or South - at Broxden Roundabout travel 3 miles following signs for City Centre/Perth. After the crossroads at Caledonian Road/York Place, Woodlea is on the left hand side - just after the Church. From the A93, A94 North and A90 Dundee, coming into town over the Bridge, turn left and follow signs for the Railway Station to the junction of County Place/York Place, turn left and we are opposite the AK Bell Library.

Had a lovely stay at The Woodlea with the charming owner and proprietor Sue. Outstanding hospitality with local recommendations and an amazing breakfast with local produce. A charming period hotel not lacking great amenities including a powerful shower and the most comfortable of beds. This is a truly family run business with Sue's daughters, Katie and Louise, a regular feature around the B&B. Do yourself a favour and pop in to meet Sue and stay at this fantastic spot in the centre of Perth.
