Services
Busy Beavers is located on the outskirts of Braintree, Essex, within a community centre. The centre is situated near King Georges Playing field and small woods and it is adjacent to other playing fields. We utilise the playing fields, and woods to enhance the children's learning, often going on nature walks and exploring the environment.
Our nurturing 'home from home' environment is carefully designed to encourage children to learn independently in a safe, secure environment that promotes equality and values diversity. We have an experienced skilled manager and staff team. We provide all meals and promote healthy eating. Our cook prepares a healthy home cooked lunch for the children using fresh ingredients.
Old School House Community Nursery is based in the Old School House next to Eyke Church of England Voluntary Controlled Primary School. The nursery sits in the middle of the community in Eyke with the local church, shop and school all within a stone's throw. The team regularly take the children on outings into the local area to explore their local surroundings.
The nursery is part of Alpha Community Nurseries and is group of small community based nurseries offering high quality, home from home child care and benefits from being part of a small group with an extended network but retains its own individual identity and community feel. The nursery manager Sophie Brooks will be over seeing Hollesley Community Nursery as well as Old School House Community Nursery in Eyke.
We drop off and collect children from St Matthews C of E Primary School and are located in Burlington Road Centre Church Hall on Burlington Road. We provide a range of fun activities, resources, and experiences to meet children's individual needs and interests. Children have the opportunity to take part in physical activity, being adventurous in safety.
