During our opening times of8.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm Saturday, and 10.00am to 4.00pm Sunday, our team at Animal Arkis here to look after your pet. Our team of dedicated Vets, Registered Veterinary Nurses, Student Veterinary Nurses, and Patient Care Assistants ensure that your pet has the very best care.
The story of Animal Ark Vets began in 2002, when Animal Ark Veterinary Centre opened in Goodmayes, Ilford, North East London. Of course, at the time, we didn't know that we were starting the beginnings of such a wonderful community. At Animal Ark Vets we quickly became known for our quality veterinary care.
Animal Ark Vets in Goodmayes, Ilford are proud to be an RCVS Accredited Small Animal Practice. This includes individual veterinary surgeons and the practices in which the veterinary team works. We are proud to be accredited under the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme, a voluntary quality assurance programme.
I have been taking my dogs to animal ark for 10yrs. I would not go anywhere else. The whole ethos of the surgery is amazing. All the staff are great, and the care of your pet is too. My dogs see Lyndon Basha, and its nice that he 'knows' them. Lyndon can see straight away if they are off colour. My dogs have many health issues, and Lyndon has helped keep them in great condition and happy, with minimal medications.
Could you imagine you or a family member having knee surgery and not being given some form of post-op rehab program?. The focus of the care is to address the underlying cause as opposed to treating symptoms in isolation. Reduces your dog's body weight thereby reducing stress on joints, tendons and ligaments; this permits your dog to increase their range of movement and build muscles.

Greedy place, high charges, it’s only business and money interest!
The price rise from £23.05 in October gone up to £38 ridiculous!!! Same thing but again it’s only their interest. The medication I paid some cosmic prices
Baytril 2.5 oral I’ve been charged £11.85
and Meloxidyl oral suspension 10ML £17.65 where is online is around £6 for the same amount. Terrible experience

I have been a customer at Animal Ark since it opened. The reason I came was that the owner, Lyndon really cared about my pets and showed empathy. During Lyndon's reign I would, without question, have given 5 stars. Since the practice was taken over by Linnaeus, the standard has not only dropped, but the vet's in general do not have the same standard before the takeover. It is also very difficult to see a regular vet as they are so busy. When calling the practice, you are put on hold for ages before the phone is answered and on occasions, answered and kept holding for 10-15 mins. One of the biggest

My cat was poorly and Animal ark were great in fitting me in as an emergency appointment.
My cat was seen by vet Arietta, she was amazing so professional and very thorough with her examination.
Arietta gave very good advise and within a few days my cat was much better. Thank you so much.
My only complaint is the prices have gone up too much, to double or triple the prices.
Pls make it affordable.

Been using this vet for YEARS now with various animals. Don't think they are either cheaper or more expensive than anyone else. Always very good service, never had an issue. Would highly recommend. And know people who have moved away and still come back to this vets so they must be doing something right. They also have a couple of open days/community events each year. Love 'em.
